The real danger zone is the flight deck itself. Truly the most dangerous place/job in the world. The only thing more impressive than flight ops on the boat is night flight ops on the boat. Thanks to all now serving, those who have, and those who will in the future. FLY NAVY!!!

The Daily Aviation is using a headline which does not represent the content of the video. The content does not address the danger of launching "fully" armed F-35C's in the middle of the Ocean. First, where would one reasonable find an aircraft carrier but in "the middle of the ocean." Second, it would be foolish and dangerous to launch an unarmed F-35C in a potential war zone. What's that headline about?

Simply taking off and landing of any aircraft on even aircraft carrier has a danger component, not limited to a fully loaded F-35C.

My love and support for all our US military is and has always been strong and steadfast. However, in the back of my heart I will always favor the USN and regret not following in my grandad's, my dad's, and my brother's footsteps in becoming a sailor. Especially so with my close relationship with my brother, who was a P.O. on the USS Little Rock CL92, a Cleveland-class cruiser, and, after its decommissioning, his reassignment to the USS King DDG 41, a Farragut-class destroyer on both ships in the capacity of CIC. Yes, I'm that female. Love my country, love our military,...and yes, love men!!!🤣

Can you imagine how difficult it was to be a female on an active ship in the early years? My sister was in the Canadian Air Force, but ended up serving on ships for quite a while.

The pilot salutes the launch officer in departing the ship as does every sailor departing the ship via the quarterdeck or after brow to the officer of the deck. The only difference is that the pilot does not also salute the ensign (flag) in his departure.

You have to learn how to put the Ñ in your english keyboard. The spanish marines are the Equipos Operativos de Seguridad (EOS) or Security Operative Teams. They use to do boardings, when there's not an FGNE team (spanish seals/marine raiders)
