You really should have put your RWR on your right MFD. That would have increased your SA

It would make it a bit more convenient to listen to on headphones if you mixed the external sounds (engines) a bit lower. Right now that's all much louder than your dialogue, which means people have to constantly adjust volume as you cut from inside to outside and back.

@@damienmcmurray9786 Well one moderate scathing with ejection and the other unscathed but shaken up. How many Su-35's did they splash? Russia only has... 125-150 of them. They had to lose a large percentage of the entire Su-35 force in one engagement. Brutal.

That was brutal. Those SU-35's are far more dangerous than i expected. Five Allied losses to seven bandits is far worse than i assumed would be the case before the engagement began. I expected the F-18's to struggle but i thought the F-15's to at least get at the bombers. I also didn't expect Longshot to lose an F-22. Live and learn i guess. 😊

SU-35 is a spectacular jet. It gets overlooked because of cooler Gen5 stuff but, it's one of the best, non Gen5, aircraft in the skys.

Absolutely electric action. You can feel the tension dripping out of every word. The viewer is sitting at the edge of their seat gripping their armrest as you chase down those bombers before their unleash their payload, then deal with SU 35 bogies coming from all directions. The cinematics are incredible as the Raptors take on the savage hoard attacking the ramparts. Great job guys and please let's see more of this spectacle!

I don't care how stealthy a plane is, if you are showing the whole flat side of your plane to a radar guided missile at point blank range, it's not going to miss. I feel like this isn't well modeled in DCS. Edit: As many have pointed out, this is a mod, this isn't EDs fault and I completely agree.

Its absolutely amazing, with the publicly released information to work with, how effective the stealth coating is on the F-22, against missiles. There were several near misses on you both that really seemed chalked up to the missile just not clearly seeing the aircraft then from defensive maneuvers or chaff/flares. Truly a tide changer when the Raptor enters the battlefield.

it's ridiculous. If an R-77 would go pitbull on a 3m² target at around 15km, then it should be able to track a 0.0001m² target (very generous) at 1km. If the missile speed is Mach 1,5, it gives the missile 2s to turn into the target, 2 seconds is huge. In no way that missile goes stupid into mountains without slightest reaction.

I read from an F15 pilot that they literally cannot lock onto an F22 even when it’s directly in front on them at guns range. It’s that stealthy. The only usable weapons would be IR/camera based seekers.

First of all, EXCELLENT opening cinematic. Second, that was one of the most thrilling fights I've seen on DCS KZbin. You and GS are killing it with the quality of your videos. As hot as the F-22 is, I can't wait to see what the NGADs can do!!! My guess is an armed forward observer to guide in missiles from something like an F-15EX that does triangulation between an AWACS, the "Echo X-ray", and the target.

You need to watch LS shoot down GS in an F22 twice in a row in a dual with a Su-35 recently. LS came back to claim the overall, but LS can drive a 35!

I should have watched the entire video before posting originally...Even so, that was intense and very well done...LS, you stated you had a Bandit on your 6 but the missile appeared to hit you head-on....were there 2 Bandits firing at you at that time or am I missing something...I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO have this video broken down, perhaps in TacView during the engagement moments with split screen or something also showing what you guys were seeing on your Huds or Radars....A big ask I know....I'm certain 99% of the community members understood everything....but as I said, I'm new to DCS (haven't flown anything but WWII birds so far)....plus when I view you 2 guys video's in particular I take notes, screen shots, etc as part of my multiple binders of info I learn from each of you guys vids....
