my husband is a Disabled Marine, injured in iraq by an IED. he has war footage from his missions and I would like for someone to use the footage and put music to it. he is dying from cancer and when he was injured, 5 of his Marines were killed and he blames himself since he was their squad leader and volunteered for the mission. they were combat MP and he was a combat investigator. he was in the Army National Guard for 11 yes and a civilian LEO but joined the Marines after 9/11. he was 30. he's 42 now and wants those 5 Marines remembered for their bravery and his roommate shielded Kevin. he put him up for a Bronze Star but it was never granted.

The minute I heard this song I thought of my poppy. He truly worked like a dog to the keep the wolves away. They have been getting mighty close lately. I don’t know how he did it. Don’t want this to sound like a sob story but his passing truly hurt. He was an idol of mine. He was one that had given all he had to the last few minutes and until he took his last few breaths. I was born in 2011. When I saw what was happening in Iraq I told my dad that I wanted to go fight for the land I pray for. He said I was to young and I have to wait till I was 17 now I’m 13. Waiting 4 more years to enlist. My god protect our soldiers and there families.

My cousin Bobby spent 2 yrs in the original Persian Gulf conflict to later return to Indiana. Fast forward many years and his 19 yr old son joins the Army because he admired and wanted to be like his Dad. Not wanting to see his son go alone, my cousin Bobby re enlisted so he could be with his son. Bobby and his platoon were all killed in a HumVee clearing the roads by an IED.
