So you spent at least $3356 on this 2 minute 20 second video? Wow... I appreciate your dedication but it was not worth it in my opinion! Also could've done with the wake behind the ships and bubbles as they cut through the water, and it didn't look like the ships were rocking or bobbing up and down in the water with the waves, would've made the animation look a lot more realistic

A ship of that size doesn't really bob around in waves of those size. However waves splashing against the hull would certainly look cool.

The ship's hull should be tearing through the waters. Look at 00:16 I can't see it. The jet blast deflector should be right behind the aircraft when it takes off, not to the side as it seems from 00:27 to 00:30. Also, where is the catapult to give the aircraft the lift? Such important things should not be overlooked.

Water doesn't seem very dynamic and refined, and most of these assets seem like they only look good up close, like the carrier. It loses all illusion of reality when viewed from further away, same for the water.

I don't like water waves and I don't like when ship hits the wale, nothing happens and also no effects around the ship when the water is hit. The jet take off is also too unreal, too fast lets say. Surface of the big ship is too clean, there is no any roughness on it or any other detail objects, its just clean black. But through out the video things change and some become better, don't know why, but in general great scene!

I had a weekend to finish this. These models were not designed for Unreal and I am one man. Also, good luck finding better ocean water in Unreal. Lastly, you should take look at how jets are thrown off aircraft carriers.

you can learn blender, I am primarily a programmer, and as hard as blender can be, if you work at it enough and continue through the frustration its pretty useful, I wouldn't start by trying to make a carrier though :/
