I’m sharing my dads love today. His navy reunion is happening . So I’m thinking about my dad. He was my hero.

My dad I hope you’re proud of me. I know I am of you. But I’m humble too. You were my dad. Not everyone has a dad as wonderful as you are. I remember you teaching me to ride a bike I didn’t fall as I crossed the dam. Good thing because your probably the only Navy dad with a daughter who couldn’t swim. I didn’t fall far because I didn’t get too proud. You were proud enough of my accomplishments. You never had me compare myself to the others. How proud I felt riding my bike on my own but you were watching. You said you’d watch me from heaven too. That’s what you’re doing right now. Today was not my best day but this video makes it my best day because you’re the best dad watching over me. Wheh others are mean to me… you’re kind. Mom was your light house. You were out at sea. I hope there’s a little bit of both of you in me. I remember my life jacket. Not always sometime I wasn’t wearing it and Joe had to jump in and rescue me. He couldn’t swim either. He taught many people how to swim. Thank you fir this video. For me it’s you taking to me through my tears. You’re the best father ever. Thank you for watching over my friends. They don’t know it. They don’t know their parehts love them as much as you love me. You were everyone dad… in scouting. Thank you for a special place in your heart for me. For your perfect love.
