US Presidents Play Hello Neighbor FULL SERIES

Basically what happened is that the player was a witness to his next door neighbor locking his missing friend in the basement. The friend who was represented by a cardbord cutout, saves the player after being kidnapped by distracting the neighbor so he could escape. The whole point of the story is that the player is evicted from his apartment and has to move back to his home because there is nowhere else to go. Despite the neighbor's house being long gone after being burned to the ground, the player has to face his trauma and learn to move past everything that had happened in his childhood. The whole point is that he has to move on from his past trauma and realize that the neighbor is no longer living there. And he also learns to accept the fact that he is now bigger than the neighbor and could probably fight back if it ever came to that. Basically what happened to the neighbor was that he used to have a happy family. But one day he was out driving with his wife. A truck ended up comming from the opposite direction, killing her. The neighbor's son being reckless because of the heartbreak he felt, accidently pushed his sister off the roof of their house because they were playing up there for some reason. What the player witnesses, is the neighbor trying to lock his son in the basement to hide the fact that one child is dead, while the other is in hiding from killing her. But out of the fear of things getting out, things esculated too far, and the neighbor decided to kidnap the player to keep his secret away from the public. The shadow monster represents your inner demons. The player had to protect his younger self from the shadow monster to show that he is a bigger person now than he was when his trauma took place, which is why he kept growing bigger each time he protecting his younger self. The neighbor on the other hand, has metaphorically barricaded himself away from his inner demons instead of facing them head on. He feels guilt about how far things have esculated. From having to bury his daughter in the backyard, to locking his son in the basement to hide him from the public, to having to pretend that his kids are missing instead of letting his daughter's murders be public knowledge. Basically the whole gameplay is a lookback to the player's past experience with his neighbor who's tragedies led him to make stupid decissions in a panic. And because he has to move back to his childhood town despite being terrified, ends up having a dream about facing his inner demons. By learning that he is now bigger than the neighbor now that he is older, and could probably defend himself if he ever needed to. The lesson is that the player is older now and can decide to be the bigger man and not let his past trauma ruin his future. By forcing him to face it head on when he is forced to move back home instead of hiding from his problems in the big city like he was doing at the beginning of act 3.

@@TheHeavieKiwie Well I mean according to Hello Neighbor 2, which takes place after act 2, The neighbor was caught trying to drag his kid back into the house after trying to escape shortly after the player escapes. And we know that the neighbor flees to his abandoned museum to escape the cops and ends up locking his son in the attic. And we know by the ending that we the player in the second game are about to take the kid to safety, until the neighbor gets crushed by an object and the son shows concern for his father. We decide to let him help his dad if he wants to. But of course there is some stupid cliffhanger where we are knocked out and they claim that the neighbor's story is not over and we have to wait for another update or something stupid. We havn't really gotten an explination about why the neighbor's house is burned down. I just assumed it was to show that time has passed and the player has nothing to worry about anymore because the neighbor's house is no more. As for the ability to push the neighbor down, there were three minigames that gave the player an ability after beating them. We know that the player is scared of supermarkets. According to the books, after his grandma forgot him at the supermarket due to her declining health when he was a baby, he kept having nightmares about being small and helpless in a supermarket. This was explained in the books. So we can assume that the supermarket minigame is about getting over his fear of supermarkets and the feeling of helplessness. That gives the player the ability to crouch and not be seen by the neighbor. We needed that ability to not be seen by the shadow in the basement. The closet minigame probably represents the player's fear of the dark after being locked in the basement. Beating that minigame gives the player the ability to double jump because I guess he kind of needed to double jump in order to turn the light on in the huge dark closet. The doublejump helps the player jump over a tall fence in the basement. And then we have that school minigame about redlight greenlight. Judging by the lit up mannequinn that kept zooming around the room when the student mannequinns were sitting down, it probably represents how the player constantly had to hide to avoid the neighbor's constant patrolling. You might notice that the lit up mannequinn sometimes makes the other mannequinns disappear due to them not being at their seat. The mannequinn at the end of the level that you push over represents standing up to the bigger person. This gives the player the ability to push the neighbor over. I always assumed it represented how the player is bigger and stronger now that he is a young adult and the neighbor is older and smaller. You might recall that there was that corridoor with the locked door in act 1 where the player ended up getting caught. The part where the player pushes the neighbor over and locks the door behind him represents how he will not let history repeat itself. He knows that this time he doesn't have to let the neighbor get him. He can push the neighbor off of him and go through the previously locked door that caused him to be trapped in the first place. He is standing up for himself and finally going through that door that stopped him before.

So, let me explain something. There is a glitch in act 2. Um you have yo go up the ladder in front of his house, go where you went in act 1, then stand on the edge of the white wood above his front porch. Let him see you, then the neighbor will come under you. Wait for him to throw glue. It will then launch you in the air, and you can go over the wall and beat the act. ❤😊 This glitch does not work on mobile however.
