US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller says, "We shouldn’t look at the past"

During a US State Department press briefing on Thursday, spokesperson Matthew Miller was asked on the colonialism in Palestine, in which efforts for a resolution has been resulted to failures in the past.
Miller responded that “We will never have a peaceful way out of this conflict” if people continue “to look at the past.”
Miller further pointed out that there has to be “a political reconciliation”, as he believes that through violence “is a path to continued conflict and never-ending cycle.”
