People are too tired trying to make ends meet to go out and be social not to mention it costs money. I think being overworked and underpaid is killing people and is an epidemic. People do not have time to even enjoy a hobby. We are a society of hyper individualism.

As a hotel pro for 25+ years, I have managed hotels from the Florida coast to the Colorado Front Range. I have accumulated a lifetime's experience of dealing with the public in general. We have developed a toxic society that serves the narcissists at the expense of tolerant personalities, and the narcissists are in control now. I'm retired now, never going to work with the public again. Best of luck to the rest of you.

Besides what I posted above we are dealing with so many other things that has even separated families and even people in church. It's very BAD. Every human being is an island to some extent, it's just up to each and every one of us to do what we can to build bridges and venture out to others to form bonds. The ease with which this used to be possible in the past has rapidly diminished with the ephemeral and temporary nature of relationships these days which is a consequence of the changes society has gone through, in part, because of the rise of social media and the individualism that followed.

@@Unpopular_0pinion I guess there are a lot of reasons. We have technology that keeps us from having to interact with real humans. We have remote offices, remote classrooms, online retail, even self checkout lanes. We had a pandemic that hung around a long time. I think the way it kept cycling again and again, eventually led us to just accept life in quarantine. For me though it started a long time ago. I got rejected and outcast and I was always pretty sensitive. So I've been living this way for a long time. The upside is, its brought me close to God. So he even used all these things for my good. I wish they can measure unemployment, disposable income and/or low income (maybe below state and/or federal poverty limits). Is hard for an unemployed and/or person living below poverty to socialize because it takes money. Transportation costs, party and get together expenses, gifts, social events, gym memberships, personal training, dining, amusement parks, or any private places where there are people generally cost admission and other form of billing. Conversely, someone with a lot of income and/or wealth can choose to stay home to perhaps attend more prestigious social events and/or other reasons. In this case this person can choose, the opposite of loneliness because of poverty. ---As for public libraries, I do not know. Many of our experiences with public librarians are bad. Almost all the time I use self-service and query my own search to holding the materials, but they just love to waste taxpayers time and do simple queries again, many times they do not check in the items meaning you have to do a controlled check-in with return receipts. The items are suddenly on the shelf and I incur junk fees. Many times, the items get lost in transit also. If anything, there should be a place where there are taxpayers only where they can socialize with themselves no with arrogant public employees. These public employees many times think they own the place in fact they don’t. Basically, the experience of going to public libraries is so bad that we still prefer checking out virtually to boycott these unpleasant and government waste human interactions. -Another thing too is this whole thing of listening… When someone states their unsolvable problems such as poverty and someone just listens sometimes it is actually worse because now is one more person that knows about it and there’s still no solution. Many people exploit on the poor they are known as gangsters, drug dealers, con artists, bottom feeders, to even people who dislike to poor and/or other similar characteristics. Even coworkers will ‘backstab’ you by broadcasting these problems to other coworkers, supervisor and/or managers when it is not necessary. Lost of trust. Sometimes, they do this because they want your position and/or sees you as a treat their job security.

I absolutely disagree that loneliness will effect you negatively! Strong minded people don’t need others to be around more people bring more problems and remember it’s the people that hurts people not animals or aliens 👽

It's all my fault. I figured out the solution to loneliness 40 years ago, a scientific breakthrough, and didn't publish: The way to get past our nation's hangup on looks, etc., is for us to realize there is usually an exceptional, extraordinary, mutual appreciation of the way the other's mind works between people of birthdays about 6 months apart. That provides basis for coupling along with good friendships. Why is birthday such a big deal? Birthday is a fundamental dimension, phase, of the annual cycle of daily levels of arriving solar energy in our environment, that human infants have evolved to respond to with systematic neural networking patterns. What is sorely needed are social forms providing opportunity for people of appropriate "complementary" birthdays to meet. For starters, tho, just mentioning your birthday on your facebook page and requesting matches of the appropriate birthday range to contact you might be of benefit to form friendships as well as coupling.

Society is ruined forever, women will mostly lie and not tell you straight up that they aren't interested, and the whole issue with income and hyper individuality. I just want an honest woman that isn't so self focused, that doesn't care if you have the deepest wallet or the perfect look, because I don't think that way. I would be honest and loving only for it not to be worth it to so many 😭😭😭 I've literally never had a girlfriend and I'm 20 years old never even got a kiss in that way before and I crave it it hurts me so much that I haven't done these things and so many are and I makes me mad and jealous, what do they have that I don't, how are they so lucky. I can't tell you how many times I've been at parties and see young couples dancing and in love, it ruins the party and I feel like going home, or if it's at home, go to bed. 💔🥺😭

BS, even those who are ok with being alone can often feel lonely. There is no benefit to society when you stigmatize lonely people as weak. That's how you create resentment and further isolation

In reality, lonely men who work through loneliness themselves become stronger and often find what truly makes them happy in life. You get the benefit of not relying on other people for your own happiness. I'm far from concerned with loneliness in women after the "KILL ALL MEN" movement became mainstream, THAT is resentment and THAT is what is causing this isolation to begin with.

But we also want human companionship that is honest, even with God I get very sad no girl likes me and everytime I try it ends in failure and I'm just being nice and attempting to make conversation. Or they do like me somewhat but them never respond to the phone or texts. I'm happy to have God but all my life I needed and wanted human companionship. A young woman to love and take care of and is there fir me when I'm all broken inside 💔

If one opens up their heart (this is metaphorical and the best way I can explain this), you will receive a guilty conscience about past immorality committed. This is what we describe as guilty conscience, and this is uncomfortable. Even one can get a guilty conscience of what is not based on morality. This includes cussing on ones one, getting drunk, bowing down to other gods, or dealing with the occult. Just do all four. That guilty conscience will be there about those four. But these four are not based on morality. So, if you get a guilty conscience from committing these four above, then you need to explain why you are getting a guilty conscience. If one blatantly continues in immorality for a month, bad events NOT associated with your immorality will increase. This includes the four above that is not based on morality. After you confess all your immorality and stop continuing in this immorality, you can think about an immorality in your mind. Before you even act on that immorality, you will receive a guilty conscience of that immorality in your mind. Since there is an uncomfortable sensation of committing the four above not based on morality, you must confess each one, and that guilty conscience will go away. There is a correlation that if one blatantly continues in immorality for a month, bad events not associated with that immorality will increase. If the bad event is associated with that immorality, then it is a bias. If one receives a guilty conscience of what is not based on morality such as cussing on one’s own, getting drunk, bowing down to other gods, or dealing with the occult then this is the first statement. If one blatantly continues in immorality for a month, bad events NOT associated with your immorality will increase (the intensity or quantity of bad events will increase). This includes what is not based on morality. This is the second statement. If statement one and statement two are true, then this shows that someone or something is intervening in your life. Because the logic of statement one and statement two should not be there. But it is there. And enough people need to do statement one and statement two to confirm that these two are factual. Another way is to blatantly continue in this immorality for a month. Bad events NOT associated with your immoralities will increase. If the bad events are associated with your immoralities, then just ignore them. Write about all the bad events that happened during those first month. The second month do not continue in immorality. Write down all the bad events that happened during the second month. You will see a difference between the first month and the second month. If you continue in immorality, bad events NOT associated with your immoralities will increase. Thus, there is someone or something intervening to make this logic happen. And the guilty conscience of what is not based on morality and the intensity or quantity of bad events increasing because of the immorality committed, is actually God. Therefore, God is against sin. Thus, this narrows God down to the One who is against sin. Either He is a generic God that is against sin, God of the Jews, God of the koran, God of Love Jesus, or He is the I Am (the One who sent Jesus Christ). To prove God’s name, just make fun of the God of the koran and the God of Love Jesus for a week, while not sinning, and nothing will happen. Make fun of the Trinity Gods (three Gods in one, Jesus is God) for a week, while not sinning, and nothing will happen. So, God is a generic God that is against sin, God of the Jews, or the I Am (the One who sent Jesus Christ). The only way to prove His specific name is to let God speak through a prophet in first person to talk to him/her about his/her sins. Then, He states what his name is through that prophet. If one makes fun of the Son of God Jesus for a week, while not sinning, this will result in their life getting worse. Bad events NOT associated with this sin will increase. Don't do this. If one makes fun of the I Am for a week, while not sinning, this will result in their life getting worse. Bad events NOT associated with this sin will increase. Don’t do this. Believe God is the I Am, the monotheistic God of the bible for two weeks, and your life will NOT get worse. Therefore, this shows that a monotheistic God, who is against sin, can respond back.
