Facebook and KZbin etc were banned because they refused to adhere to Chinese law after Xinjiang terror attacks. Your argument would be valid if Tiktok violated US laws.

Google was not banned, they decide to quit China themselves because they don't want to follow Chinese regulation which all Chinese/Foreign companies have to follow. Meanwhile Tiktok did everything that US government asked, with even higher standards than FB, Google and Twitter, but was still forced to quit the country or sell to a US owner with cheap price. That's the difference

Who is the guy in the middle? You should have some basic information & knowledge on the subject before opining. There's nothing difficult about taking down or restricting a domain or site... it happens regularly as part of DMCA enforcement against pirating sites. In the case of TikTok, it's even easier to enforce because of there's so much $$ to lose. App stores, ISPs, and TikTok itself become open to civil litigation & class actions by not complying. While the federal executive branch can make the ban happen faster, it can be done in practice without any federal executive involvement.
