For people who are traveling alone without anyone waiting outside to carry your belongings - one can carry their cash and keep it in the ziplock pouch inside the file * other than electonic keys- normal keys are allowed if its kept transparent for scanning. I kept my file in a open paper bag and its allowed inside too. *PHONES STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED * Just fyi :) Great job 👏

Sir whether your visa will get approved or rejected will depend on how you answer the interview questions. Aap ko apne purpose of visit and documents se unko prove karna hai ki aap USA ghumke waapas India aaoge. You can show business papers and tell them ki aapke parents india mein hai and aap saath mein business karte ho.

You can tell him that last time it was rejected due to insufficient documents (for eg) & that this time you have all documents in place ! Or let’s say it was rejected coz you didn’t have a strong enough reason for visiting USA then this time you can explain them how you have a solid case behind wanting to visit USA and also return to India!

Mam bahot easy hai hamara interview delhi mein tha family ka 10th July ko. Wahan par jis officer ke pas ham jate hain ham unko bolte hain ki we need translator. Hamne bola kyunki mere husband comfortable nahi hain english mein. Par unhone bola mujhe ki your english sounds good so will continue in english I said ok fine. And mere kids se bhi pucha tha ki kahan Jana hain wo dono 10 and 12 yrs ke hain. So be prepared them as well. And all the best.

Samajhne mein difficulty nahi hoti hai.but incase aapka jo interview le raha hai uska accent samajhne mein aapko problem ho you can always ask him to repeat the questions. I also asked him a couple of times because it was a little difficult to hear his exact words sometimes. But Woh log aapko ache se comfortable karenge so don’t worry. All the best 👍

Which flight is best to visit US? I have heard traveling with Air India (AI) is ok. However, your immigration takes atleast 1-2 hrs when you arrive in US!! And the Authority directs you to enter into a separate line only for AI travellers! Is that so? So many have suggested to avoid AI flights and choose others.

I have heard Emirates and Lufthansa flights are good. I don’t think there will be different immigration lines for different airlines.

At London Heathrow, the immigration authorities gave VIP treatment to Indians and opened a special entrance for the process, cutting down the time to just 8-10 mins, I witnessed people from other countries were made to wait for as long as 30-40 mins (since the queue for very long).

Hi Ma'am, I had one more question - My first ever passport was issue in 2022, but had a typo in my home address. So I applied for a re-issue in 2023. My old passport was stamped cancelled, and it had no travel history on it - completely blank passport. While filling the ds-160 form, I thought i knew where the old passport was kept. But when I searched for it I wasn't able to find it. I've already submitted by ds-160. I've answered NO to the question - "Have you ever lost a passport or had one stolen", which I think is still valid since I've lost a cancelled old passport and not an active one. I wanted to ask how important it is to carry old passports for the interview? Does the visa officer explicitly asks for it? If he/she does then how should I answer them in this case?

They do ask you to carry all passports. But I guess you can carry a letter explaining the issue with your cancelled passport if at all it comes up. Best to not mention about it unless asked.

Should I get an updated letter of Invitation from him, stating his new address? I suppose, The Immigration Authority could ask for the letter of Invitation at the Airport Arrival since they’ll be definitely asking my US visit purpose.

Yes. Best to have his updated details when showing any document to the embassy or at immigration.

You can submit a new DS-160 with updated details. But if it’s just this one change maybe you can mention during the interview as well? Don’t think it would be a big deal

Hey! The only way is to keep tracking regularly… there are some paid telegrams group you can join that post msgs when slots open up but you have to be very quick in booking the slot as they get filled very quickly. Alternatively you can also pay a hefty amount to visa agent who’ll do this for you but they charge like Rupees 20k+ as far as I know. Good luck 🤞

Mam, While choosing Visa class I chose Tourism/Business(B1/B2) where as My purpose of visit is for tourism . I overlooked that there exist B2 which is for Tourism/ Medical Treatment. Will it be a problem during interview. Please reply

You should mention it when asked during interview. Shouldn’t be a big deal as they anyway mostly issue B1/B2 visa to all.

I got the date of interview as 8th November 2023, but i recently put down my papers and my last working date is mid-december. I am confused now, should I go for the US visa interview ?What if they ask for company official letters stating they have invited me to US for business meeting? I wouldn't have any official documents from my firm. Would love if you can shed some light on what I should do.

Thank you mam for the video. Can you clear my doubts. In DS160 we have to show travel history for the last 5 years, but I have traveled to 4 countries and that was 7 years ago. So, my last 5 years travel history in the form would be zero. Will it affect my application?

Not at all! What matters is you should be truthful in your application & you have a valid reason of traveling to the US and then returning to India.

Good tips. My visa application was denied under 214b (told them I am planning to meet my friends). Only asked 3 questions. Very short interview. Any idea if I should wait to reapply and try to get other VISAs first? The officer did not even tell me the reason.

Yeah I have heard that the visa officers are instructed not to reveal the reason behind rejection. Having a travel history definitely helps. We were also asked about it. So if you are reapplying after some time makes sense to get a visa like Schengen maybe?
