Tessmann can play multiple roles. I like him as a CDM because he has long range shooting threat and great passing range. He'll get run at the 8 before CB. FranTan could be valuable as a CB; he'd convert defense to offense quickly. He's just not as thicc, goonie, or junkyard dog as I like CBs to be.

This is what we learned in 3 points : 1/ that roster is reaaaaally bad, beside tolkin and that number 10 that team is one of the worst us roster ive ever seen cnt believe that fraudovic left diego luna and cade at home. 2/ we need to talk about paxten aaronson guys...first time ive seen this dude was in that u17 world cup if my memory is good i had a loooot of hope on him. That bundesliga transfer was a big mistake i would have preferred italia or england imo. He lost a lot of confidence his body language is terrible give him some TRT i dnt know something is wrong i cnt even tell if he is a pure striker or number 10 3/ PLEASE MURICANS finish second for the Love of GOD ! i want to see usa vs morocco its going to be fire with france vs argentina ... Totally agree that we needed to include a MAN in the striker position. Sargent or Pefok should have been there. I commented on this months ago btw. Yeah, Vasquez woulda been fine too, just somebody who can be a physical presence in the box. Also, this is no slam cause I love his grit and talent, but Kevin Paredes seriously needs to bulk up and get stronger so he doesn't get manhandled on the wing.
@austinsandel2 ай бұрын
I completely agree with you, and paredes also had amazing positioning when he was about to get pushed off the ball. He put himself in a position away from the ball which made the pressure result in a foul several times. He still needs to bulk but you can see his experience in the bundesliga with stronger pressure paying off.

Henry would be a better coach than anyone in America. I am French and his time in Monaco is absolutely not representative since during this period Monaco had a record of injured players in the long term. Henry had to play young people who had never played professionally for some. He never had a real chance at a good club and in France we are satisfied with what he produces with the U23s. The match against USA was an opening match and the French players said they had a bit of pressure for their first match in front of their home crowd.
@mrmr55802 ай бұрын
You didn't play too bad in truth, France were bailed out by their high end talent, you're right about Henry, he's not a good coach, apparently at Monaco he'd get frustrated with certain players, for not being as good as he was, it's the old story, a former world-class player that everything came naturally to, can't explain it to the players, I hope to God USSF don't hire Henry

My lineup for next game: GK: Schulte (short leash) CB: Zimmerman CB-M: Tessman CB: Robinson M: McGlynn M: Busio M: Mihailovic M-F: Booth F: Parades F: Yow ST: McGuire Booth plays F on offense and let Tessman move to M on O while rejoining back line on D. Let Booth and Busio roam freely on O with McGuire playing alone at the top. Big ST can act as a decoy while we rush the middle with Yow, KP, Busio, and Booth. Let crosses and deflections be McGuires only touches if possible. With Tolkin, Wiley, Harriel, and Aaronson on the bench we can do a full formation change if we want. Organized chaos is our best chance at a medal. Confuse the opposition. We aren’t good enough to beat France, Spain, and Argentina playing like them. We need to play our own version of the game. This is a bad take. The reason the USA qualified for this tournament is because CONCACAF changed the rules as they had been eliminated 4 of the last 5 (before this Paris Olympics) CONCACAF Olympic qualification (football/soccer) by Central American teams. They changed the rules and now you have teams like Dominican Republic and this unworthy U.S. team representing CONCACAF. As much as there is rivalry I can acknowledge that Mexico and Honduras (Mexico with gold in London and Brinze in Tokyo) have historically represented CONCACAF well and it’s not even my opinion just looks at recent 20 year statistics. Start demanding more of the USSF.
