Halloween is coming up. The library is also holding a Halloween event for children, and I took Cherry and Hobak to the Halloween storytime that was held every week.

It starts at 9:30 in the morning, but there were a lot of people from the morning. At 9:30 in the morning, there was a storytime for children ages 0-24M, and at a little after 10, there was a storytime for children ages 2-3, so I thought I could listen to two storytimes.

Hobak's starts the storytime. Usually, she sings a simple song with her mom, like "zoom zoom zoom we're going to the moon." When she does the rocketship, she lifts the baby up. Hobak was also excited.
I showed her picture books for babies.

And the rest of the time is for socializing with friends and playing with toys. Let's touch various toys with Cherry and Hobak make sounds.
After Hobak's story time, when he reads a book or two, Cherry's story time begins.

The next book was Halloween Trouble

Do the egg shaking dance and bubble time.
Why do you go to a story time that's only thirty minutes? If you only think about the story time, it can be too short. Thinking about parking and taking the stroller~

However, it is good for children's social development and they become more familiar with the library. It is not just a place to read books, but a play culture space. In the US, the functions of the library are more diverse than you think. After story time, you can have a natural conversation with moms and see what books other children read and what they like.
​
That's why I try to go to the library often, but I don't go often because I want to go to the YMCA in the morning and play, exercise, or rest in the kids' zone.
​
Finally, the Goodbye song was sung and the story time was over. Hobak was interested in the blackboard where the librarian was reading books and talking, so she crawled. Cherry brought Hobak~ Cherry was cute dancing to the Goodbye song like a dinosaur stomping its feet.
