Katende explained it well. Just a small supplement on the issue of children. If on your application said you don’t have children don’t worry about it. Proceed as a single person but when you get the visa (as a single applicant) to the U.S. then you can apply for your children to follow later when you settle in. Form I-130 petition for alien relatives is what you will need to fill. If you have a wife nga e waffe mu Uganda soon as you start staying with your girlfriend in the same house she become your wife even when not officially married. Go ahead and get married then you can come with her at the same time because there was a change in status.

DV started between 1990-1994 not 1980 although it has changed names. It starts in 1st week of October and ends 1st week of November. But on the eligibility Mr you must not be able to become a public charge. Lastly those that aren't hitting 50000 on the last 5yrs not mitwalo 10. Countries on the verge of being disqualified might be Egypt, Morocco and some few.

They have very simple but strict requirements. But 3 things usually fail people 1. Testing positive for TB 2. Not having a host to receive you when you arrive in USA 3. Lying in your application especially with children and spouse

What hurts me most of that u find yourself troubled a lot with all that process and unfortunately u get to be denied the visa, I think that's very unfair😪mostly a person should go for the medical examinations after confirming that he/she has been granted the visa🤔

But they never throw you out coz they don’t like you but because Ugandas are perennial liars and lie everywhere, the lie catches up with you here and we can’t do nothing about it. For Tb then it’s sad, or lacking someone that qualifies to host you but if you contact people well, you can get help.

It’s unlikely to be denied a visa at that point unless they find out you are lying to them or have a disease that they wouldn’t want you to bring into their country like TB, hepatitis A,B, C and all or even HIV. The rest of the diseases like TB, Hep they will tell you that it’s the reason, but with HIV they don’t tell you. Some people put their siblings as spouses or children that are not yours if the immigration officer decides to send you on a DNA test that is when you’re finished.

whoever is watching this. thanks Mr.kakande however there some much adjustments in everything that you talked about. 1. KCC nolonger receives documents on filling the ds260. secondly after filling the ds260 on getting the 2NL letter you are supposed to go with the beneficiaries-for medical and later to interview. And about the diversities its 50,000 not 100k. Thirdly you can pay the greencard money $220 when youre ready in the states. etc theres alot of adjustmets now . 2023

yes you can leave the family , but you have add them on file , so when they call you for visas , don't take them just go with their birth certificates and passport. tell them they will join me at later date. due to financial reasons. embasy will save their infor- on yo file . i did my self
