USA High 1x08 For Whom The Bell Tolls

The guys can't get any phone time with the girls always on the suite's one line. Rather than pay for another phone, the boys try to wire up their own line. It turns out that they rig up a duplicate line so they can eavesdrop on the girls' private conversations. Jackson uses this inside knowledge to his advantage with Lauren. Also, Winnie and Ashley try to relocate the "hunky" pizza delivery guy they saw before and Mr. Elliot and Ms. Dupre work together on a fundraiser.

The closing dance sequence at 20:45-21:00 is a gem...watching poor Mr. Elliot trying to bust a move at 20:45-20:46 is groan-inducing, while seeing Winnie shake her groove thing at 20:47-20:49 is hilarious.

Yup, pretty much no cell phones they becoming smaller at that time than the big fat cell phone that Zack Morris had on Saved By The Bell LOL😂. Pagers were all the rage in the 90s and I know in high school they didn't want the students to have pagers I think they would've taken it away if caught with one, cell phones didn't become popular until a year or 2 when I was out of high school.

Same director but I think USA High was more of a spin off of boy meets world the college version. The teen sit com era was like the boy band era back then. They were all trying to come out with the next save by the bell just like all these music label's were trying to find the next Backstreet Boys.
