My 1v8 at NAC in 2017 was way more set with less rush. We beat Oakland strokes by open water.

Filippi runs beautifully! Nice relaxed rhythm. Stroke seat just looks uncomfortable with that set up. He has long tibias and runs the entire stroke cycle sitting on the back of his bum. I would suggest leave the feet where they are and raise the seat and gate. Will improve his angle of attack to the water at the same time. But if left he is an injury waiting to happen. 6 seat front turn isn’t going to be pretty at race pace after 1500m. Get him to go out in the single and dive into the catch and see how well the boat runs. 7 seat rows very well.
