Good honest answers. As an England supporter it's refreshing to hear after the games Eddie plays sometimes!. Good luck US.

Coach Gold, thank you for being honest in the post match interview and also in this press conference. This performance was disappointing in the least, and at times disgraceful. It could’ve been worse. Now boys, pick up those sad faces and do the US proud. You’re better than this and you know it! Go Eagles!!

Simply put, we got our asses whooped! I don't understand how we are so bad at this sport, when, 1) we used to be so good, and 2) the amount of people we should have to choose from! I guess the NFL takes too much talent from our pool of players bc there is NO $$ to be had playing rugby in the USA!!
@Bobmudu35UK4 жыл бұрын
Rugby's only been professional since the 90s. But I was impressed with the physicality of your team, in England we have a massive pool of players, kids start playing very young, 5 year olds play tag Rugby. We play it in school and the club scene is huge. The great US will be a force to be reckoned with in the future. We'll be in trouble when you start taking it seriously. I'll be supporting your team in the rest of the tournament, you're in a tough group though. Soften up the French for us mate!
@Bobmudu35UK4 жыл бұрын
Ps, you're not that bad, England are one of the favourites, remember. I've seen you lot play much better. England are very good at suffocating teams.

Yh huge respect to these guys though. If there's one big flaw that can be mentioned, is the press's questioning, some of it is stupid and ridiculous. It's as though they have no idea what to ask.

The US were poor in the scrum and poor at the maul. They had structure but had they played the same team that played Tonga they would have been mauled.
@dbjmk80834 жыл бұрын
Poor? More like their opponent was overpowered for them to deal with. Only teams that maul on par with England are the Boks and Ireland. Englands scrum is as good as any.
@ascott19534 жыл бұрын
Very professional performance by England but as a neutral they are really dull to watch. The best teams offload in the tackle but I think I could count on one hand how frequently this happened. The error count was also high. Now considering USA are fair weak opposition England will struggle against SA or ABs.
@ascott19534 жыл бұрын
@Cameron Brown Its the same at Twickenham ...... it's just not part of their game ..... it's a problem for most northern hemisphere teams. It's why the ABs, Australia and to a (much much) lesser extent Scotland are so much fun to watch
@thegreatjavalemcgee60374 жыл бұрын
Most of their starters didn't play but still those back ups need to play better. I think England can really go far this world cup. Love yall from samoan supporter

@@ascott1953 Yeah watching Scotland get smashed by Ireland was pretty fun. At least they off-loaded a lot though, that's what counts right.

Not in history can england make another team scoreless only all blacks can do that should of stayed with 45-0 instead of giving away the try they played better against tonga making them not score a try anyways they still win thats what will here for

jackson perry It wouldn’t be much of a game cos we don’t play it in England, but there is always a good crowd when you send teams to play.
@offal4 жыл бұрын
doyou play as a national team? you have a world tounament (superbowl) and you don`t invite any other countries, so how would you expect any outside country to compete? rugby is an English game but we gave it to the world, like football also, we never kept it to ourselves and we couldn`t because the world wants to play them, unlike American football, which nobody outside the USA wants to play really. but yeah the usa would massacre any other team outside the usa. as it`s not that competative a sport outside the usa. what we should do is let the best rugby team play the best AF team at both games , you`d lose big time, as american footballers arn`t fit enough to play 40 mins straight. lol, but this is rugby dude no AF.

offal I find the NFL too stop and start for my taste, but then five days to play a game of cricket is puzzling for the Yanks.
