USA ROADTRIP | HOLIDAY VLOG | SOLO TRAVEL | SUMMER 2024 | FLORIDA | GEORGIA | NEVADA | CALIFORNIA

I am sooo late posting this (yes, I'm referring to May/June) but welcome to my USA roadtrip VLOG! Come with me on a journey of a lifetime to Orlando, Miami, Key West, Savannah, Vegas and LA! This is Shan and I's second trip together (check out our November 2023 Thailand VLOG, for our first solo travel trip together!).
Some of my personal highlights had to include experiencing Florida as an adult - need I mention DISNEY and UNIVERSAL STUDIOS?! I was around 5 years old the last time I ventured this way, so making new memories as a 20-something girly was a dream. Similarly, Miami didn't disappoint and the Keys had the most beautiful sea I'd ever laid eyes on. I also fell in love with the one and only, Savannah Bananas (ps Jackson Olson smells amazing). After making 100s of TikToks/Reels as a slightly crazed UK fan over the past 3 years, it was amazing to meet the team and also connect with one of my besties I met on Instagram! Vegas was also a blast and I can't wait to come back with the energy to PARDY.
Our accommodation throughout the vacation was pretty decent (some slightly shinier than others) and we were able to meet our budget for internal flights. I highly recommend DialAFlight (cute shoutout there) for any complex travel needs! Otherwise, I'd usually book everything myself. We had a car for most of the trip - you do get used to driving on the wrong (right) hand-side of the road eventually! I think I'd improved since Coachella the year before anyway!
The American way of life can be really quite different depending on what state you're in. This was my first time experiencing real Southern hospitality, which certainly didn't disappoint. I'm quite familiar with California which was always super chill but the tipping culture in Vegas was next level! It was also a real treat to see my Great Uncle in time for his 90th birthday - I'm not crying; you are!
