I have to admit. I think us Hat Films fans might be some of the best fans. The like/dislike difference on each video is so vast. The only people I think who dislike these guys are the ones that Trott takes the piss out of all the time at 5:37 . I think they can relate to him and get offended :D I can see now why these videos took so long to make. The amount of hours they must have recorded on all the different Go Pros in the car alone. Well done Ross, the videos are great!

This is so cool for me because I have been here and done all this stuff! Our crisps did that too. We saw a black bear whilst we were on a walk in the redwood forest- which was awesome but a little scary

Ridley Er not much... We just stood very still, and picked up some big sticks (not sure what those would have done) and it strolled passed a safe distance away. We saw another one later near a path- but there were other people there too so it felt less special. It was quite fun trying to quickly stop people who were approaching from making noise and alert them to the fact that there was a bear. It seems like the Hatfilms guys only went to the most busy part with the biggest tree ect, so probably not much of an opportunity to see wildlife.

The long cone, is a Sugar Pine. Sequoias do drop cones but the they are much smaller about the size of a jumbo chicken egg.

I almost toke the trip as you guys (except the opposite direction) however I did it in the winter so I had to take a massive detour because the roads in the mountains was closed due to snow.. Anyways, it was an amazing trip and I recommend everybody to do it!

Its funny that one of the biggest trees in the US has loads of visitors and is in a well maintained place, as one of the tallest in the UK is in a rarely visited wood on a random road, with very few visitors who arent doing forestry at the local university.
