Phantom is right. Physics does have a lot to do with it but what your leaving out is gravity. The weight on the outside will keep the car balanced as it enters the curve at high speed. All in all, it doesn’t really matter. You guys take this to another level. Your builds are insane, love’em. You guys keep rollin, that championship is around the corner.

@Shawn is absolutely right about Daytona’s track.. Television does NOT do the curves justice at all.. Until you are in the pit area looking up that bank.. you truly find it hard to believe those cars go that fast around that pitch!! I was absolutely amazed with just the cars… Then I saw the motorcycles race on it and was even MORE amazed!! It’s insane!!

so shawn, on the banks, the car wants to rotate towards the wall, unloading the inside wheels, so having more weight on the outside tyres mean they have more grip, circle track cars usually have a staggered trye size as well, which forces the front left down and the rear right up, a bit like how you guys adjust rear steer to make the car go straight, circle cars are tuned to turn left

The new track you guys are going to in Michigan (US 131 Motorsports Park) is a half hour from my house. Damn straight I’ll be there! Instead of buying a new big screen like I had planned, I bought a few NPK (3, and would do it again)! Can’t wait to see y’all in person for the first time! Best of luck this year boys! You (and the Murder Nova) have been my personal favorites since episode 1 (you know how everybody always has a car they like and they gravitate towards that car, and th personality of that driver, that team) .

I gotta say I think that you guys are a hell of a lot of fun. I think that the trip to Australia needed you guys cause you add a lot of fun to the atmosphere. I have not finished watching the video yet. I am glad y'all got to go to Australia and experience the people and the country. It is a long time wish of mine. Glad you got to get to really meld with the people you went with. Australia is one place I think America can really relate to but England is also another big drag racing scene. Yes, Street Outlaws is a tv show and has turned into a brand. It is designed as a TV show 1st and Shawn is at the moment the stand out OG of the brand. I know the producers of the TV show will be manipulate the story line but the racers will always be the hardline. No racers, no show. I hope to get to see you guys one day. I raced circle track for years and on a right handed turn you want your weight bias to be higher on the left hand side. We had a rule that we couldn’t have more than 51% left side weight when we went over the scales after the race.

The weight goes on the inside. If you turn left you want left side weight. Most dirt circle track cars are 52-54 percent left side weight.
