Ishii took a long time to get to where she is right now. She's the main scorer now for Japan. Ishikawa (Mayu) is very promising at 19. Also young players lile Kurogo, Osanai and the others hopefully bring back Japan to winning ways. Now that the olympics is postponed, I hope they retain the original line up but include Ishikawa.

If i need to make a comparison for japan team..I guess the team that they have right now is slightly shorter than before but they still have the ability to attack..just in term of blocking they might be disadvantage..but for last year match in world cup..i'm quiet suprise that japan team push the usa team to play until 5th set..👍👏 I guess they slowly regain back the momentum..excited to see their next match🙌

Injury. She is totally out for this 2020 japan 29 man pool. Kurogo officially took over her number 1 jersey. A lot of young players entered their senior's team mostly came from the u21 line up.

@@landonpatrick1003 Goncharova needs help. I think no one on their rooster is as good as her yet. Voronkova is not really that much. Just powerful but slow and predictable. I do hope the younger players step up because Russia has always been dominant in VB. It would be a shame if they will keep on falling from the ranks.
