It’s coming along nicely Dylan. I was going to do the van, but saw a pickup online that I really like. So I’m pretty much not sure which way I want to go. Maybe I’ll just jump out of the gb. Don’t have fb so I’m not a USACC “member “, so it’s not a big deal. About your rear suspension,it looks like axle brakes. Check out a sprint car rear suspension. Have fun with your build. I like the V8 grill. But what about no emblem 🤷🏼‍♂️

That rear end looks like Jaguar one. It has inboard disc brakes. You don't to need add brakes to the rear. Your project looks great.

Where did the engine come from. All the ones I’ve seen have the valve covers and the heads are 1 pcs. The 1 you have are separated

Those are not emergency brakes. They're the way the brakes are set up on an independent rear. They're called inboard brake. There are some independent rears that have outboard brakes. No need to add disk brakes on the outside.
