Band members know better than to talk during the performance. I know for a fact that the WMU band did not talk during any of the other bands performances because I was in the WMU BMB at the time and was at this performance. It really surprised me that they felt so little respect for the Broncos that they chose to pay little to no attention to all of our hard work paying off. We were respectful of them. We deserved it in return.

At this point you shouldn't expect respect, and thats coming from a former Hawthorne Caballeros member, former Blue Knights member, and a former Pine Creek High School Marching Band member, in any of the performances I've had in DCI, or DCA, have I ever seen one corps be respectful towards each other before performances. In my experience as a Blue Knights during Semifinals most corps will not respect eachother, we never got respect from Bluecoats, Blue Devils, or The Academy, we still gave them respect. In DCA We got 0 respect also, we respected the Bushwakers, the Whitesabers, or the Buccaneers, they were on their phone laughing etc. in the stands while we performed, it's very standard in marching band as a whole for 0 respecto be given to other bands, thats also coming from Colorado Bandmasters Association, where we received 0 respect from Liberty High School, Rampart High School, Air Academy High School, Centaurus High School, Loveland High School, or even from Mesa Ridge High School.
