Just like your other videos, very helpful in getting me to understand the functions of this great camera. My only question is what do you think of the stabilization feature. I have walked around while recording and it seems jumpy. Did I miss something (i.e., how to turn it on, etc.). I find this camera is nothing like my GoPro when it comes to stabilization.
@TECHNOLOGYTIPS1012 жыл бұрын
I agree the GoPro has better stabilization, but that is optical Stabilization by using a Wide Angle lens on the GoPro. Most GoPro cameras don't have any Mechanical Gimbal stabilization. So to get the best result from this camera to mimic the GoPro, you can do two things: 1. Don't use the Zoom Function on the Camera and let the image be as wide as possible. 2. For even more stable image add an Add-On Wide Angle lens on it

@TECHNOLOGYTIPS1012 жыл бұрын
You are very welcome. About the LCD/Viewfinder, I know it is a shame. My older Canon VIXIA could do it, but not the new G50 or my G60. I think they did that to reduce battery load, since you can only use one or the other. However it should allow people to use both if they are operating the camera through an AC Adapter.

Thanks for the video. You put a lot of work in it and I learned from it, especially about the G50. One tip: if you don't know what a certain function means, do not make anything up. That's not necessary. Plus you could bring confusion to the viewers. Subjects like Non Drop Frames, Color Bars, Timecode, 1KHz reference tone... Just admit that you're not familiar with those and skip it. Users who need these functions will know how to handle with them.

Great video, when you are recording and you hit the start/stop record button does it reset the time? If I need a 5 minute or less video for a presentation, will the person recording me have to remember the time whenever they hit that button during filming because I messed up or whatever. I never know how long my videos are with my Sony 4K until I edit the video because I wouldn't remember the time when I had to stop filming.
@TECHNOLOGYTIPS1014 жыл бұрын
Every time that you record it gives you the time of that specific clip that you are recording it does not count all the previous clips that were recorded before. In other words every start/stop resets the timer. The only way for you to see your total recording time is to see how much time is left on the memory card which is a rough estimate. The smaller the memory card the more accurate remaining time estimate you will have.
