Finish your contract there in Indiana then relocate to Northern California. Pay is x 3. You are an experienced nurse so that will be taken into account. Do not buy a house at this time, too pricey. It seems like it is just you and your family, get a 1 bedroom apartment. Start your 401K or 403 B asap. Pay off your car as soon as you can. Do not buy unnecessary things like LV bags like soo many pinoys do. Save and work, work work. Allow your husband to eventually work too even if he does not earn as much as you do. Welcome to America!

K1 visa is a fiance/fiancee visa. Ini-issue itong visa sa isang Americano kung mayroong syang gusto pakasalan na dayuhan. You need a license to practice nursing in the US . . . .doesn't matter if you take the nclex sa Phil o US.

Pag bago ka sa America, anuman ang profession mo, hanggang Wala kang certificate or experience dito, mahirap kumuha ng trabaho ayon sa profession mo unless kinuha ka mismo ng company (Direct hire) galing Sa sariling bansa. Ganun pa man, di ka pa rin nila isasabak at isabay sa mga datihan na dito. Ngayon kung pumunta ka lang dito, lahat ng claims mo na nakalagay sa resume Kahit super duper pa ang job experience mo sa resume, answer lang sa. iyo ay ang nakakinsultung, WoW. Depende rin siguro sa State yan. Mas I-hire nila yung May certificate na dito.

The problem in middle east they will use ur prime years after your working age is over they will return you to philippines, unlike in the US, they will grant you resident, citizenship, and you can be a retired pensioner if you want to retire already, age is not limited especially u work as a nurse

Hi po depende po sa employer maam, hindi po laging sobrang taas. Ako po ay may 11yrs nursing exp pero +1 usd lng ang taas ko sa isang entry level. Minsan din po may mga hosp na hnd po msyado mtaas ksi mganda naman ang benefits or insurance. You just have to check the overall offer po snyo.

Its blessing in desguise na rin kung bakit di na natuloy ako dyan kasi malaki nga sweldo pero stressful na makaipon dahil sa laki ng bayarin sa bills im contented na dto sa kuwait kasi no tax free accommodation electricity water and transportation sa work 8 hours duty lang ranges 2400 and 2800 us dollar converted lahat sa yo no deduction food na lang at bills sa internet at phone lang mmababawas so makakaipon. Here i have twice vacation a year with fully paid which i can enjoy traveling in different parts of the world. Sorry im not bragging but because of not thinking paying bills and tax im saving money also for retirement. Anyways if you are happy the place where you work thats fine. This is the most important happiness and contentment wherever you work.

Life in america is very comfortable. Nag work narin ako sa Riyadh before moving here, parang ganun din naman, outside US nga pero gastos with travelling etc din napupunta ang extra money mo. Dito, for example you get a house, mortgage na yun but you own the house. Yes, pension din is very convenient. Sa iba bibili kapa ng private insurance pag nag retire ka, diba? It really is about how you want to secure your future. Madaming tax but hey, you get what you pay for. No regrets na lumipat ako dito. 😊
