I have relatives who have fled Venezuela. They applied to different countries knowing fully well the country was going to shit. Our job was in a garage changing oil and tires it was very physical labour, after all of that this guy still worked on his own business fixing AC units. Finding it harder and harder to make a living while there is so many illegal immagrants taking jobs for cash under the table and sending it back to their families in their country. One of my coworkers has an LEGAL open process, her family is from Venezuela, she is an American Citizen, this LEGAL process takes 8 to 10 years to be approved after affidavit of support, back ground checks both sides at the beginning and end, proof of taxes and expensive fees, she told me it is not fair, I have to pray everyday to be healthy and have a long life to see my children here meanwhile thousand are crossing the borders everyday and have been granted to stay in the United States for free. I’m only seeing those interviewed just explaining a desire to work or not making enough money so they came. This is not in line for a legitimate asylum claim. My heart bleeds for these people it really does but America can’t even help their own. I Work 12-14 hours a day. Pay taxes. And when it’s all done I can barely afford rent and be able to feed a family of 4. Not to mention all the other essentials a house needs. Wages aren’t going up. But everything else is going up. Figuring how to deal with the problem is easy. Tell them if they want to ask for asylem they need to make an appointment and show up at a legal entry point with documents showing their appointment place and time. Easy. And then enforce the program with force where needed. ANY person entering outside of a recognized point of entry will immediately be sent back over the border. A lot of migrants now attitudes are disgusting. We decided to help some migrants cuz they were crying cuz they had kids. We helped them out and they did their part for a while helping around the house. 2 weeks later they start taking advantage eating all the food and wasting it then they don’t want to help. Got tired and evicted them. They didn’t do anything not even try to get a job and when they did they were asking for a lot of money like they were privileged. It’s a damn shame
