To lift a man, a large man, another strong powerfully built wrestler and toss him around like that is just monstrous strength, really inhuman strength. The guy was a freak. He trained extremely hard, but he had some genetics on his side for sure.

Also take into account poor in Russia is different than poor in America. For Russians wrestling can be there only way out. This guy ran with it.

I think it's sad that I only know Craig Pittman from professional wrestling. I SHOULD know him as an accomplished Greco-Roman wrestlers who competed at high levels and against the best in the world.

i remember when he was in WCW, as i'm sure most who know his name do. I don't think he wrestled professionally long enough for his career to take off.

yeah eurasians and slavs have the best genetics for strength and power lifting, that can easily translate into wrestling thats why they're so over represented in both sports kinda like west africans and how they're over represented in sports that require fast twitch power or samoans with rugby and football

@@AfshinBarani lol you think they didn’t have ways to outsmart those tests? Also he might not have been on steroids during the fights. But juicing in the off season which is pretty common. For instance most of the baseball players in the 90s did that.

@@rorobobo8401 once you cycle out your T levels drop extremely, that also alarm for the tests.. Your cant be 130kg of pure mustle and have below avarage of T :) In any case, dosing T is common in sports, for exsample USA basketball team can not be tested if they to Olympics.. For a reason. Still majority is genetics, will power, training and training and some more training.

@@damirkomljen58 to be a top tier athlete obviously genetic and hard work matter the most. But there’s ways for t levels to not drop dramatically with post therapy so you won’t have “low t”

@@AfshinBarani LOL LOOOOOL First of all... Russia is notorious for cheating with PEDs Second, its NOT hard to pass tests in 2022, the UFC has "USADA" and its still insanely easy to pass the testing, which is more thorough than anything in the 80s and 90s Not taking anything away from the dude. He was a beast wrestler. I fucking hate when people just say "steroids" like that somehow is the magic to make people elite. You need 1) Insane Genetics 2) Insane Work Ethic 3) Insane Mental determination AND you need Juice to reach the peak of the peak I can take steroids all I want, and I would never come close to professional athletes because I don't have the first 3. But to think this dude was not on gear is INSANE
