Hello, you need to do a calibration on the usb input when the tester is disassembled, plus and minus when you connect it and then it will show accurately, because the tester takes on a little consumption and shows an inaccurate voltage, I haven’t found such information anywhere, so I’ll write it, otherwise I did it calibration as you do and the value on the power supplies shows not only after my calibration it will show correctly and accurately

Mine locks up when charging device is connected. It is KOWSI MX-18L V2.1. Open circuit, It works OK and can be voltage calibrated. However, after connecting a device the display locks up and cannot be changed with the button or increasing/decreasing input voltage. If a device is connected on power-up, the screen is frozen white. Any idea how to get past this problem or do a full reset? There are gold pads marked V,D,C,G for probing.

I think my test unit has an incompatibility with the load cable. The KOWSI works fine on other devices, and my unit being tested operates fine with other USB testers. Perhaps the data lines are connected in a way this unit doesn't understand.

I have this model, I find it quite useless as it always freezes after being plugged in after some time and needs to be replugged in every time.
