USB Zip Drive with a Stuck Disk

This is the USB version of the external 100 MB USB disc drive. Model number Z100USBS. Manufactured in 2004. This drive has suffered a hard fail and the eject button is not working. This video show the simple way to eject the disc from the drive in an emergency. Included is some history and general information on the Iomega Zip Drives.

Zip was a godsend when it came out. I was in college at the time and carried around a stack of floppies. Very cumbersome. When zip drives came out I bought the parallel port external version and used in on the campus NT & Unix workstations, and in my dorm on my Dell PC. It was great and very popular for about 5-10 years before being killed off by writeable optical & thumbdrives.

Hello David, how have you been. I've accidently dropped my Vivitar Vivicam 3610 camera and it is not turning on anymore. Do you know any resources where I can learn about the basics about the internals of a 2000's digital camera so that I can repair it or would it be possible to contact you via email. I really cherish my camera and would really like to get it working again. I would really appreciate any help.
