USC defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn discusses Michigan defeat, Bear Alexander redshirt

@@MrHBALLER55 the fact still remains we don't have disruptors, you can disrupt a play by shedding blocks and making runnings backs or QBs move. Our dline doesn't do that, maybe it's a scheme thing either way it's not what you want from a dline all year. We'll get hurt just like the Michigan and LSU game playing that way. Defense played good most of the game both those games, but not being able to get off blocks and create havoc on the interior will be a problem

Interior dline hasn't played great nor bad they're average. No plays they just have held position. That Michigan and LSU game showed we need disruptors. All big runs come from the middle because they don't block shed

Exactly he was just a name for casual fans to recognize. He only played a third of the snaps this season and doesn’t really fit the new style of defense.

The interior dline has not been good nor bad, they've been average. I don't cherry pick the numbers I break the film down and I can tell you everything I see if you'd like

Bear Alexander is an example of a college athlete getting very bad advice from family members that are not seeing the big picture. Family and friends are assuming Bear is guaranteed to become a high NFL draft pick and become a instant millionaire. None of that is guaranteed to any athlete. Bear needs to keep playing and start dominating his opponents to get the attention of the NFL scouts. He has been missing in action all season. You left Georgia and now you leaving U.S.C. Come on Rudy. Notre Dame next I guess. I hope you have a full class load and are passing your classes because the main focus should be on getting a degree. You should be ready to walk across some body's stage by next summer as long as you been in college. Good luck to you where ever you wind up. Been there done that. Go Trojans.
