As a lifelong LSU alarm, I have to say I will give credit where credit is due. USC clearly kicked our ass and we don’t even deserve to be in the running for the national championship.. not a big fan of Kelly but other fans do believe in him and I’m willing to give him a chance but it’s funny you win a national championship and you fire your head coach in the same year always struck me as odd

As you know we still love coach O here, and always will. Many of us wanted him to be the SC head coach, but the AD (Pat Haden) at the time was an idiot as it turns out and did a lot of bad things to our program. First and foremost he didn't even try to fight the ncaa charges and simply accepted the draconian penalties that the mob concocted. Many of us will l"never" forgive him for that....
