UW fan here and I'm rooting for you guys and the Beavers from here on out as long as you're not playing the Huskies. What USC and UCLA did to the Pac sucks. You guys obviously got it worse than us but even having to join the BIG 10 wasn't ideal. Sure the funding for the athletic department is great but having to play 9am road games on the East coast isn't exactly ideal. If playing on the road is worth a field goal playing at 9am after flying 3,000 miles has to be worth at least a TD.

It was NEVER about the QB. Under Pete Carroll it was Always about the Offensive line, the Running backs, and Aggressive Defense. Matt Leinart, Carson Palmer, John David Booty, Mark Sanchez, were ALL Game Managers. It was the O-line, running game, and Defense that made USC great back then.

I don't understand why Miller handed it off on that 4th down. The linebacker crashed. The right side was well blocked. He could have easily pulled the ball and rolled right, with two receivers in single coverage.

This is the most frustrating USC team in recent memory. So many close games. Losing to Penn State, I get, they're a good team who's good in the second half, the other losses, super painful. If we had a defense and a coach that could scheme for the team he's playing, we could be 8-1 or even 9-0 right now if we survive Penn State. Forget playoffs, forget New Year's Six bowl, forget January bowl, maybe even forget going to a bowl. We might be going to the Toilet Bowl this year, it's unfortunately a very real possibility.

But no matter how good your defense is, if your Offense keeps going 3 &out every possession, it's eventually gonna wear your Defense down cuz they're constantly on the field. USC was giving up 34 pppg last year. This year they're giving up only 21. That's a huge difference defensively. The Offense on the other hand has taken a Huge step back.

QB can’t do anything if the OL can’t pass protect for more than 2 secs. Moss isn’t a top 10 QB but he’s not bad. The problem is the OL is dogcr*p and Riley is too arrogant of a playcaller. Throwing nearly 30 passes and less than 10 runs in the 1st half was criminal when the RB was balling. Even the announcers pulled up the stats that USC is last in FBS rush attempts in road games. Riley outsmarts himself and gets outcoached every game.

Two college games this weekend pretty much ended with the same poor play calling of running the ball up the middle on every down when you're inside the 5 yard line. Penn State could have won their game, and USC theirs, with a simple play-action, fake run up the middle, and your Tight End is wide open in the end zone because they covered the run type of play. And was there some type of rule these teams weren't allowed to tackle runners going around the end to score? It looked that way with how easy the ball was run into the end zone on several plays.

I'm a Washington fan. However, the only way Washington will win games is if they simply outscore their opponent with Offense (as in this case). Washington's Defense continues to be the worst... Ugh ... I'm not sure if it's their players or just poor defensive schemes / coaching. At any rate, Washington's Defense is only passively aggressive. They just seem to go through the motions. Winning is not Washington's highest priority. Washington's Zone Defense never seems to play well. When interceptions do occur in Washington's favor, it's almost always because the Offensive Team's receiver mishandled the catch. Seldom is it ever a forced event. Washington's Defensive front four hardly ever puts pressure on the opposing team's Quarterback. Apart from an impressive goal line stance near the end of the game and a denial during USC's last set of downs, it was a poorly played Defensive game for Washington. I only hope members of Washington's Defense are not pinning their hopes on turning Professional after college? Though Washington won this game, I'm always frustrated watching other teams pick Washington's secondary apart with ease and USC is not one of the better Offensive teams. My heart continues to sink for seeing Washington in playoffs... ❤‍🩹

Pete Carroll decided to pass on second down from about the one-yard line and a lot folks think it was the worst call ever. It all depends on weather the play works or not for most people think it's good play calling.

Oh so you just gave it away last night our USC 72,000 screaming fans at montlake in Seattle husky stadium Brunner the linebacker 20 interceptions the running back for the Huskies 100 and something yards and two touchdowns didn't have anything to do with it a goal line stance on 4th and one to stop you you just gave that away did you give me more?

@@jamesfarnan7456 yep, Huskies weren't perfect, but they did a lot of good things on Saturday against USC. Carson Breuner was in the Trojan's face all day long
