I applied I-130 form for my brother on Dec 19th 2023 through online. Since that it is showing this message “Your case status is unavailable at this time We are working to get you accurate information as soon as possible. Try again later”. I am worried about that . Your reply would be really helpful.

Hello, Yeanoor, Did you get a receipt notice for the case? Were you able to make payment for the petition? If the answer to either of these is “no,” you may need to file again. If the payment was charged but you got no receipt notice, you may need to try calling the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 and letting them know. They’ll likely as a Tier 2 officer to contact you after a few days. If we can be of further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Hello, Unfortunately, some advance parole documents have similar issues and problems. We would recommend calling USCIS to submit an inquiry. If you do not receive clarification within 30 days of that call, I would recommend calling again and requesting an escalation of the issue.

Hello, In a situation like this, we recommend that you call USCIS to check on the status of your application. There is a special phone line for premium processing which is 1-866-315-5718. They have service available Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. CDT. Hello, In our experience, the online case status may be reflecting incorrect information, or it may be that there will be a Request for Evidence issued even after the receipt notice. One of our clients recently had this experience, and it turned out that the RFE was issued incorrectly, so the client’s resident card was approved and issued with no problem. We will simply respond to the RFE with a brief note that it appears to have been issued either to the wrong applicant or to our client by mistake.

Hello, If you are getting that error message because your case is a U visa, T visa, VAWA, or asylum, there is nothing to be done - USCIS does not publish information about those types of cases. For other cases, including Form I-765, error messages may mean you need to contact USCIS via their e-inquiry service on the website or via their call center.@@SaiRG0398

There are many across the country that do T visas. For example, you can check the Catholic Legal Immigration Network and they may be able to point you toward one of their affiliates in their area: www.cliniclegal.org/find-legal-help. I began my career at one of their affiliate offices in Austin, Texas - you are not required to be Catholic to qualify for their services. Best of luck to you!

Hello Mrs. Walker Gates, I submitted I134A for both of my parents but on my mother application I get a message saying ( YOUR CASE STATUS IS UNAVAILABLE AT THIS TIME) only on hers I did both of them one after the other hers was first I got a receipt from USIS that they received it but when I check the status it shows that I’m entering the wrong receipt number I checked this a few times is not an error of me entering the receipt number. Hello, In a case like this, we would recommend contacting the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 and follow the prompts for reporting a problem with a case. Then hopefully you’ll be able to speak with a representative who can submit an inquiry to the office adjudicating the cases. If that doesn’t work, we would recommend consulting with and hiring an attorney to assist. We would be happy and honored to do so should that become necessary, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Hi, Raphael, Sometimes the USCIS status gives an error message or says “unavailable” for cases involving highly sensitive information (asylum, cases for victims of crime, trafficking, and domestic violence), but for a fiancé case, the most likely explanation is a typo in the receipt number. If you are able to submit an e-inquiry through your online account, we recommend trying that. Otherwise, you may also call the customer service center at 1-800-375-5283 and follow the prompts to report a problem with the case. Hopefully that will get you some answers!
