Thank you so much Jackie, this morning I passed my citizenship interview, and now I'm waiting for my oath ceremony, My questions are: 1-what is an amendment? 2- what did the declaration of independence do? 3- who is in charge of the executive branch? 4- what is the capital of your state? 5- what is one responsibility that is only for united states' citizens? 6- name one state that borders Canada? R: Who elect Congress? W: The people elect Congress. No definition, thank God 🙏 Good luck for you guys.

Hi guys, I had my interview today and PASSED 😀 🎊 Thanks Jackie. My interview was not face to face but on zoom. Guys it was not scary at all. I always get scared till I forget stuff but on this one I was so relaxed. So I live in WA but the interview was in OR. Planed to be there 40 minutes before time but got there 20 minutes after my appointment time because of the traffic and accident so better plan to be there early. I was so nervous that I would not be allowed in but they were so chill. Surprisingly people were not dressed official, rather most people were in sneakers, open shoes, jeans, you know just the regular normal way, far from official. My interviewer was so chilled. She was even chewing gum during the interview 😂. She started with I think 6 of the 100 questions- Who is the President of the U.S, name a state that boarders Canada, who is the Governor of your state, when do we celebrate Independence Day, who is your U.S representative, what qualifies you to vote? Reading and writing was one easy short sentence, I couldn’t believe it. It was like a toddler’s sentence meaning it was that simple. N-400 Names on birth certificate. How many kids I have. They did not ask about the names of the kids or ask for their passports nor birth certificates. They did not ask me to define the words. Rather she asked me to let her know if I did not understand the sentence and words to let her know so she can explain. So basically it was yes/no. If your name is different from what is on your birth certificate like instead of Serafina, you call yourself and use the name Sera in your documents and all, then you’ll definitely need to carry your birth certificate cos they might want to make a copy incase they lost it. They did not ask for any proof of marriage, bank statements, tax returns, pictures. Did not ask me about my SSN, country of birth. They asked the address where I lived for the past 5 years not the dates. They asked if my parents are US citizens. Part7 biographic was not asked. They asked what I do for a living, no dates nor past history of where I worked. How many times me and my spouse have been married. They did not ask any info about previous marriage. If I traveled out of the country. They asked how I got my green card. Did not ask if my spouse is a US citizen or not. That was basically it and signed. Took the oath. Went down stairs to the big room and they gave my certificate. It was so quick. Ooh and they said I cannot change my name there because they stopped the name changing last year so I’ll follow that up on my own. I’m writing this because I know how curious and anxious I was before going for my interview. Hope this info helps and good luck to you all 😊 They said that the names that will appear will be the same as the names on my birth certificate.

I passed today, here's my experience! The female officer was very kind, and she went straight to the English tests. The questions were easy ones, but she did reword one q, "what are the first 3 words in the constitution" instead of the full question, so I was confused for a second but still got it right. There weren't too many personal questions, mostly the yes/no, no additional paper works (im single, no kids, no tickets) so it was super fast. I came over prepared which was good, and watched Jackie's video like 10-15x~! Thank you for the videos, truly helped so much! If you get easily nervous like me, i highly recommend memorizing the civic test till you want to puke. I prob wont forget the civics test answers EVER 🤣

Thank you Jackie for your videos! Passed my interview today in Chicago. In and out in about 15 minutes. Very pleasant officer and everyone on the floor. Questions asked: (civics): What stops one branch of government from becoming too powerful? How many U.S. Senators are there? What is the name of the Vice President of the United States now? Who is the Governor of your state now? What are two rights of everyone living in the United States? Who lived in America before the Europeans arrived? From N-400: Height, Phone number, full name, date of birth, current address, if I traveled outside of US and stayed more than 6 months. There were a few No questions and all the Yes questions. Also, definition of: Have you ever claimed to be a US Citizen? I was asked to define it. I also had a name change, officer said it will not affect the timeframe to schedule the Oath Ceremony.

I watched a few of your videos a couple of days ago to get some idea about the vocabulary. I passed my interview today! Together with the N400, I also had I-751 interview with my husband which only took 5mins. The N400 probably took 9 mins total. Not a lot of questions were asked and no vocabulary. I waited around 12mins because the officer was trying to fix a problem on the computer. But that's it! if not for that, I will probably be out 14mins total of 2 interviews. Yay! Can't wait to receive a letter for my oath taking ceremony. Thank you!

13:22 - Can't quite understand the question...What does it mean? Do I need to say that I am a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success? Also, what is an immigration benefit? - Employment authorization? Because I did have that between student visa expiration and green card application.
@USCitizenshipTestOrg2 жыл бұрын
You can and it’s not a big deal. Immigration benefits are visa, GC, citizenship

Thanks so much for your video, I almost watch all of your videos, and the interview is so similar with your video. The six quesion for me is: What is an amendment? The House of Representatives has how many voting members? If the President can no longer serve, who becomes President? What is the highest court in the United States? Who was President during the Great Depression and World War II? Name one state that borders Canada. And the reaind is Who elects Congress? The writing is The people elect congress. Thanks so much for your videos again.

Question about selling weapons… I personally never sold a weapon to anyone, but about 20 years ago I worked in the Walmart sporting goods department where I did sell rifles, shotguns, and ammunition to Walmart customers. Technically it was Walmart selling these weapons, not me… So how should I answer this question?

Hello Jackie and thank you for all u do! I passed thanks to ur videos, but I do have a question I did ask the officer to change my name but she said I had to do it on my own and have everything ready by the oath ceremony and then they can change it on the certificate but it’s $1,200 and it takes about 3 months to get approved by a judge. Is there any way around this?
