The sound volume is so low. Spielberg did a tremendous action by putting together this project. He could also have made sure all technical elements were working well, after all, the objective of these testimonies are to be heard. Without any technical trouble.

I get so confused by this. I'm on android galaxy s23 ultra so phone watching since me 22u. I'm at 3/4 volume level and can hear great. If u were to turn full volume It Would me too loud on my phone. I am not doubting you at all but moreso trying to understand how this happens.

Amazing for her family to find people willing to risk not only their own lives but the life of their young daughter to hide her and her extended family. As a child she wouldn't have understood people risking their lives to help strangers but as an adult I would have hoped she would have a much deeper appreciation for their sacrifice. She talked about her worry over the child telling her secret at school but only in terms of her getting caught-not that the girl and her whole family would have been killed for hiding and helping her.She mentions former neighbors not doing more to help or hide her father as if hiding her father involved no more risk or money than to buy a newspaper. She also mentioned none of her family being willing to bring her father into hiding. She said no one explained it but she had to understand it meant risking the lives of everyone in the hiding place arranged by her aunt for her aunt's family if her father was caught by anyone finding the way to her aunt's hiding place. Ms Freedman said several times how tempted their poor caretakers must have been when offered rewards for turning them in as if greed were a factor one must always be aware of when dealing with poor people. She negated their sacrifice and the danger they put themselves and their families into on a daily basis as if that meant nothing compared to her family having to hide.I would have to wonder how willing she would be to hide strangers in her home knowing the penalty for being caught was death for herself and her children.

Oh please, as if she wouldnt know all that or does not appreciate the people who were saving lives be it for money or not. And yes, unfortunately some people did it only for the money and later even betrayed them. You seem to have a very bad personality when you are just looking for anything negative to write about in many many videos of these amazingly brave and strong survivors. Shame is all and only on you! You appear to be quite a nasty person who should a good look in the mirror. Yt should just block people like you.

anfr, a little extreme, aren't we? Jozie isn't 'nasty,' at all, in how she expresses herself here. Not that I agree with her, on all of her points. (Jozie repeatedly refers to individual bravery many times). "Block her" because she shares her own thoughts? Perhaps you need to take your own advice, and look in the mirror. Elise aka Godgirl

I agree with anfr, I've seen her comments on many videos, she always looks for the negative. Would she be willing to hide someone under these circumstances? Miriam was telling her feel as an 8 year old, but as an adult she kept touch with the people who saved them. They received the medal of Righteous Gentile (that includes a small pension as well), because the people they helped made it happen. Yad vashem had to know about them from someone, and verify it. That's gratitude. Judi didn't even mention that.

Just think if these people who hid her had actually done stuff beforehand to ensure this wouldn't had happened in the first place.
