A very eloquent and moving testimony. It was such a good idea for Emma to write down her memories before relating them to her children. I, too, wonder about some of the questions that the interviewer asks the survivors, but I love the stories of their childhoods and their lives before the war. It shows them as just ordinary people living ordinary lives with ordinary hopes and dreams. It was so brave of Emma's parents to put their children on the kinder transport. The story of the babies in the basket was heart wrenching. The tears their mother must have shed! I hope they were kept together and found a loving home.

Mrs. Mogilensky is an amazing woman. She gives a very detailed testimony of survival, via the kinder transport. What a beautiful, kind, courageous survivor. Blessed to hear her testimony.

By far one of the most colourful, if very dark (I'm an artist always relate to colour) and detailed information I have witnessed in these important documentaries. This history should be taught in All American schools where certain individuals are trying to change history. CAN'T do it!!! History happened can't change it. We need to learn from it. The lady is built with great courage and love. Also the lady asking questions was one of the best I have experienced. God bless all survivors and their families and God bless all lost!

Very good journalism. Small details well corroborated with pictures, fine details related to historical facts, and independently verified. Well done. Excellent questions, also.

An intersting story and a symphatetic woman. The questions I would have asked, had I been the interviewer: What happened to the baby twins? When were the parents in hiding and under what circumstances? How did that end?

These testimonies were all unbelievably heartfelt and I admire the testimony and time spent by all those involved But why do all the interviewers seem to have questions NOT RELATED to the horror? Why weren’t the interviewees allowed to SPEAK THEIR MINDS TO RELATE THEIR STORY IN THEIR OWN WORDS.?

What was the purpose of showing the interviewer?
@trishayamada8073 жыл бұрын
Because this is to go down in HISTORY. So all the details are being recorded. These were recorded in the 90s, and you are watching it as history. You know the interviewer and interviewee. She can then be question in history about what this interview.

I actually love that she kept the middle name that was given to her. The joke is on those evil men because Sarah means Princess.

I was born in Ireland in 1943 and my parents had a maid. It was just how things were done then.
