Thank you for making this video it made installing the door very easy the instruction that come with the door could use more detail... and some of the rubber strips are a guessing game ?? if they were numbered it would be straight forward , thanks to you I was able to do this efficiently... Thanks again Pete M

Having a cup of water is a good idea to keep the tile bits from over heating and dulling ( although they will get dull) , get 2 of each (bits) , also you dont need to hold the fixed panel in the air while putting on the plastic on the bottom, get 1- 8' 2x6 , cut 4 pieces 18" , notch 2 of the pieces in the center (9") 5/8" wide x 2" deep , screw one of these into one without a notch (will be "L" shaped) , same for the other 2 , now you have "door bucks" to safely hold the glass off the floor

Great video. My question is, my space is around 58” and just wondering 60” could be fit here or not.
@rickykelly25953 жыл бұрын
Very late reply but yes you can cut back the rod to fit the 60" in a 58" opening

Instructions from Ove unclear. Door installed with rollers on bottom. Now seriously, they were unclear and doors not easy to install as Ove box suggests. Thanks for this video which is step by step. Ove instructions are horrible. Yours are much better and leave nothing to the imagination.

do you have to trim the splash guard that is connected to the vertical edge of the fixed glass panel? I just had one installed and the splash guard is in the travel path of the rollers on the slider making it hard to open/close. also, the bottom edge diversion splash guard on the slider is making contact with the shower bottom (floor) and making a noise which seems to add friction when opening/closing - this resistance prevents the door from "effortlessly" moving back and forth. Can the door be adjusted up/down to compensate for this issue? Or would there be an error in installation that could have caused this? thanks
