I’ve been doing well with AFO since I got him yesterday and I had no idea about the 2-3 gammas! Man, that is broken 😅 Only reason I can see them not nerfing it is because he’s a new character and he is also just sitting there as an open target when he uses it.

Found an AFO counter I rather enjoy. While playing Momo I was running with my shield while he held his Gama, when it tp’d me Momo continued to run forwards in the air towards his face and knocked him out.

I’ll have to test it in training with a friend for more controlled results. But yeah if he’s grabbing you near the end of the charge that’d stop it to, might also count as a hit if your back is turned to him? Not sure.

As im watching you use AFO's gamma, i realized your opponents don't teleport in front of you properly compared to the Switch version, eveey time I gamma or was gamma-ed, it was a guaranteed beta follow up. Don't know if that is or isn't a Switch fluke. Or just a me thing there.

I play on Switch and the only way I can get a beta to combo into my gamma is if I'm aiming slightly up because people don't get warped right in front of you. Also, the moment AfO starts to charge his gamma, the direction he's facing is locked and if you move your aim to the side then you're not gonna be hitting anything. Those are only my observations, though. I'm glad I pulled him, even if I'm still not the greatest at playing him.

Tapping Beta isn’t as optimal as holding it for five hits then pressing two alphas for more damage. As good as using the cooldown reset is, I wouldn’t do it in every fight as Afo still profits heavily off quirk stealing for certain characters. That Denki you killed was a good example of someone you likely could’ve killed without a second gamma and then stolen his quirks for the afo gamma into denki gamma into denki beta etc…
