@summ22 it is safer. Wringing out knits will cause them to stretch. Using the spinner gets the wet out without damaging the knit.

Just so you know that you can do this by wrapping it in a regular towel and lightly press a few times. If the cloth is not very delicate, then you can keep going dry it by hairdryer at low power. That's more effective method
