Use a Shock Cord Prussic Loop for Constant Tension - Adjustability

With all types of shelter, especially tarps, it is important to pitch them with tension, this holds everything tight and together in windy weather. Our shortest Shock Cord Loop works perfectly as a Shock Cord Prussic Loop. We also have 3 other sizes and a set of al 4.

If the ridgeline and prussic loop cordage diameter are the same then the prussic loop will slip before there is any damage to the fabric. For guy out lines the shock cord tensioner is great as it will also provide constant tension to the tarp as the nylon stretches over time.

I have a request. Many of us side sleepers need a bridge hammock. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out how that could be incorporated into a PSS type system, but can't figure it out. I'm pretty sure you could figure it out though, and make a product that has multiple uses. If you choose to persue this request, good luck. 😊

I got this crazy idea, but don't know if it would work. How do we make a gathered-in hammock lay flat? Answer: Simply add more fabric to the head and foot end. Topologically speaking, there would be bulges, and sleeves could be sewn along both sides of the tarp and lines fed through them to provide extra strength. You would need to experiment with how much bulge is needed.

I would NOT purchase from this company if I were you! I purchased $600 of product over a year ago, they did not ship any of it, just excuse after excuse. Refused to refund, now they have gone “insolvent”, bankrupt!
