Thank you for the advice not to loop the hose around my plants. I was going to do that.

What a well thought out video if ive ever seen one. Literally left me with out a question to ask.

Oh really? How much should you turn on your faucet? The video doesn't say. How long should you let it run? The video doesn't say. How often should you use it? Every day? Every other day? The video doesn't say! However, we did learn that water runs downhill!!!

@@CoCotheTurtle woah just take it easy man. The watering time is dependent on lots of factors. For example, are you covering the hose with mulch? Is you climate very hot? Is the hose going to be in direct sun when it's on? What time are you turning it on? Is your soul well draining? I'd say leave it on for about 30 minutes and check how wet the soil is the day after. Then adjust accordingly. Water more if it's dry, water less of the soil is retaining water.

How long do we leave the water turned on?

what size pressure reducing device should be used for 100' of soaker hose?

The downstream end of my soaker hose emits very little water, while the upstream end kind of floods. The ground is totally flat! How do I correct this? This is my second hose…the first one did the same thing!

I saw another tip from a different video, to create closed loop with the soaker hose. You will need a two-way splitter for your hose, then connect each end of the soaker hose to one of the two outlets. Now the soaker hose gets water pressure from two ends and pushes it better to all areas.

Disappointed that advice is given to not loop the hose, but no reason given why the hose should run straight.

Thanks but you don't need all those connectors on your spigot. Just reduce and adjust the water flow using the main valve (the round handle). : )

John Barrett no, that will just slow the hydronic pressure that will eventually build up to your max home pressure in the outside line.

John Barrett a pressure regulator uses a spring to reduce the pressure, it’s a common misconception

Thumbs down because... How much should you turn on your faucet? The video doesn't say. How long should you let it run? The video doesn't say. How often should you use it? Every day? Every other day? The video doesn't say!

You are the worst kind of person. It doesn't say because all of your questions have variable answers. A soaker hose in Phoenix, AZ is obviously going to have different requirements for how long it runs and how often you should use it than one used in Seattle, WA.

Impossible to answer those questions with out knowing YOUR specifics. WHERE do you live? WHAT are you watering? WHY are you such an asshole?

Yeah! Also, how do I tie my shoes? The video doesn’t say! How do I spoon cereal into my mouth? The video doesn’t say! How do I get people to love me? The video doesn’t say!!
