Use Excel lists to fill out Multi-Value lists in Inventor

I have used these, I prefer to just have a solid .ipt file in a library. How long does it take to go to a folder, scroll down to find the part and insert it. Horses for courses I guess.

Spot on. I worked at a place that had one of these fancy-pants Excel jobs. Nightmare.. when I suggested it would be easier to build a library as you go the guy looked at me as though I had just emerged from dinasor egg.

Can we have a method where we can just choose the part number from a multi-value list and the dimensions of the part change? Elary response will help me a lot !!! Thanks, ~ Vinayak

Yes. You will need to set up a rule that will adjust selected dimensions for each part number. If you send me some examples, I can help you design the part.
