I totally agree with you about the speed of the videos. Not too fast, not too slow and right to the point. I skip any video that has “Live” in the title as they drag on and turn into “meet and greets” and the host is never prepared, always leaving to get supplies. Natalie is perfect.

⁠​⁠@@nbcascardsduring my still ongoing destashing which is taking nearly a year (bad health means small spurts attacking it) , I just got rid of my brads as hadn’t used in decades but echo Marie Louise’s request regarding ribbons . Thin silk ones and also thicker patterned ones as I have ridiculous amounts of these from my younger days . Can’t bring myself to bin them as they are gorgeous but apart from weaving in an aperture I don’t know what to do with them . Great idea for a series , enjoying the ideas .

Okay, I love Enamel dots, so these will stay in my stash, but besides I am busy with stash busting as well, like sorting eyelets and brads, making paper flowers out of store bought paper flower blossoms etc My stash buster ideas would be washi, alphabet stickers, all kind of flower embellishments like resin or fabric flowers, lace and ribbons and bows, buttons, rhinestones and pearls and stickers

Brilliant idea, never would have thought to use them in that way, I don't have a lot of enamel dots, but paper flowers of varying sizes definitely, most of which I received as a "thank you for support" gift from my local craft store, and some which came has part of destash purchases, would love to see your take on incorporating them in your cardmaking.

Like Shirley I liked 3 without the add ons. The difference in the tweaks to the black line frame are quite amazing, well worth exploring further. Brads... ribbon... shrink plastic... chipboard shapes. Anything that makes a card to thick for a regular postage stamp😂 Eleanor

Love them all, including the bacteria growing in a petri dish 😂 You do have some good ideas!! As a side note, like you, I work in a school (primary). A few years ago, I was asked to accompany a group of children from school who visited Hever Castle. Our group guide was an elderly lady, very pristine, stern-looking and knew her job. One of my children known for his questioning of adults said to her, 'Miss, was you alive when Henry VIII was in the castle.' Lol, her face!!

LOvE these ideas! I don’t have many enamel dots left but these are great ways to use up my nuvo drops! If you have other ideas for Nuvo drops, that would be great! I bought so many colors, I’ll never use them all. I also have a bunch of metal embellishments like brads, small (decorative) paper clips and book labels (rectangular and round). I need to just chuck them, but if you have an idea or two I’ll make a card or two before I chuck them! Thanks again for all your inspiration!!!

Love the first 2, and loads of my friends would love a bacteria growing in a petri dish card! The third one, I absolutely adored as it was with just the dots. I have loads of diamanté type embellishments, and pearls, that need using, but no enamel dots, maybe I could colour some pearls. I do have a large collection of Nuvo Embellishment Mousses, which I do love, but they do have a shorter shelf life than the Cosmic Shimmer polishes, so if you have any tips on those. I have found more ways to use it than Tonic Studios, but I'm not using them quick enough. I love shiny things! Thanks for another great video ❤

Nice video. I have a lot of embellishment mousse and Nuvo drops that I bought when I first started cardmaking. I've hardly used any of it, and I'm afraid a lot of it might be dried out.

Some can be mixed with rubbing alcohol or water. Try before throwing. Same with pigment ink pads, think it's Lyndsay the frugal crafter, who rescues old ink pads.

Do you know if the packing tape stands up over time ? Does it peel off or yellow over years ? I know most cards I send won’t be kept but some family do so I’m wary of using it even tho I think it will look great when new . I’d appreciate your expertise if you have experience of its appearance over years .

I haven't tested it over time. I don't think yellowing would be a problem on black card, but you could always see if you could find some archival clear tape or contact paper. x
