Be careful! You won't be able to catch any Shiny Pokemon you find if you wander off too far. There's no way to enter a battle, and if you quit syncing, it despawns if you're not close by. I already lost a shiny Alolan Geodude 😅

This feels like a sort of tech demo for a feature for the next game and I'm kinda hype to see if it turns into a more in depth core system. Like using different sizes or types of pokemon to sneak through small spaces to open doors or jump over obstacles or fly over gaps. Almost like how pokemon ranger works but using your actual team members and not just borrowed wild pokemon.

The synchro feature is a cool idea that feels like they didn't get time to fully develop it. Like, i wish there was more utility to it, or that i could engage in a battle with a wild Pokemon and call over the trainer in the event of a shiny or something. Or at least let me look at my BBQ tracker while in synchro mode!

I don't have every legendary in SV yet, but as far as I can tell, Eternatus is the fastest Pokémon. Nearly keeps up with running Koraidon/Miraidon and it can keep up when going down a slope for some reason. Also it can fit in the small caves that sometimes hold items even though it doesn't look like it should. For any fellow huge SoulSilver/Lugia fans, you can swim as Lugia and it does the SoulSilver menu animation! Also with any Pokémon, you can press down on the stick to make them move a bit faster.

If anyone is wondering I’ve tested most Pokémon that can glide and the fastest of those so far have been Latios, garchomp and solgaleo (including when fused) with a nearly identical speed through my tests Edit: rayquaza is the same speed as well my friend just screwed up while racing so I thought he was slow

You're not losing shinies. If a shiny spawns while you're using synchro, yeah you're never gonna be able to catch it, but if you weren't using synchro it never would've spawned in the first place. Shiny spawn rates are independent of each other, so a shiny spawning doesn't lower the chances of any other shiny spawning. Just pretend it's not there.

@@lucifermorningstar8562 correction, when they revealed the dlc for the first time they actually stated that the first dlc for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is called The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero and that it is split into two parts the Teal Mask and the Indigo Disc therefore the Indigo Disc is still part of dlc1. If you don't believe me, find the first dlc reveal trailer on KZbin and see for yourself.
