A great explanation of the RBN.

This works great! I’ve been doing this in order to hear some “real” CW for practice as copying is (for me) the hardest thing to learn. I’m having fun in some LICW sessions-great group. While the RBN is a great thing, I cannot get it to spot me. So frustrating. I’ve been using WebSDR and KiwiSDR to hear myself, my Morse code, on various radios so I know I’m getting out. But I am completely ignored by RBN. Those who get spotted must have some impressive sending skills, or it’s automated. Good stuff. Thanks for posting.

Try fldigi, send yourself cw, or W1AW code practice

@@icyparticle I find you almost have to have perfect code. I use CQ Test CQ test de Ve3svq Ve3svq. It only picks me up 50% of the time. When I do it through my radio memory ie the radio sends that message in perfect code, I am picked up every time. I think that might be worth another video showing how to check how far you are getting out. Thanks.
