Happy to help bud. I thought I was gonna have a rough time playing solos on DF, but with a bit of patience and being sensible with what I spent I ended up having a really good time. Who knows, maybe we'll see proper solo lobbies at some point, but I quite enjoy the tension of playing vs squads. Hyped for the console launch early next year!

In the end of the day if I just wanted to play a game or two without over stimulating myself I would be choosing Delta Force Hawk Ops👍 (Am a mobile player.. Feel your pain! being an older gamer is tough sometimes when you have no squad. Randoms can be lethal or just plain nasty . Pubg showed me that fast 🤣. I can’t wait until this comes out on consoles it looks good .

hackclaw goes insanely hard if you are trying to avoid fighting people and just loot, her knife is a in a way silent scan, you can throw it and it will do an aoe(even through walls) that disables certain skills, so if you get a hit marker you know you disabled a player, same with drones, althought they will also show a marker on AI hits, so they are better for throwing and running away, and the most importent thing about the hack is being able to see the exact armor level of the enemy, sometimes its better to run if you see 3 people with level 5 armor and you have level 3 bullets.

@@AZ-dj1ni when you hack on the first ping it will show little icons bottom right of what operators they are and what armor level they have, its really fast and doesnt stay there for long.

one thing to keep in mind too is that being solo will force you to be both passive and aggro. knowing when and how to make calculated decisions for certain situations (like isolating 1vXs, disengaging from a fight to either rotate or completely remove yourself from it) will not only make sure you succeed more in PvP, but die less when unnecessary. i naturally play a chad playstyle, but recognise to swallow my ego and stop when it'd be biting off more than i can chew. other extraction shooters teach you this by virtue of gameplay, but it's especially important in DFO when the trios you fight have abilities further putting you at a disadvantage, when you're only limited to your own set of abilities/tools. source: i religiously played tarkov for ~4 years as a solo.

For me, solo runs are, 1. armor, helmet bag and vest, 2. then get hackclaw 3. take some blue 5.56 rounds in safe box and drop in empty with no guns, 4. Kill bots with hackclaw knives & take their guns. Record profits💀

Another helpful tip I keep in mind (Which I learned from MGS4 a while ago) Is to never getting into a fight if its unnecessary. Cause the game said “Neither side is your enemy” basically saying let everyone fight each other while you sneak through the battlefield. Strange Ref: but in mgs4 you had two armies fighting each other. Use the distraction to sneak lol

Gold rule of 1vs3 engagement: Only attack if you have guaranteed knock+finish on one enemy. Always create angle when only one enemy can ping you at the time (basically create choke points where you artificially play 1vs1)

Also keep in mind ammo is some of the most expensive items in the game in terms of kit. A blue stack of 556/762 is like 40k + for 1 slot. It’s way more if you’re running purple or gold. I keep all my ammo in my safe box and don’t swap it until I get an item that’s worth at least what that stack of ammo is or an item i really need. You’re going to save a lot of money holding onto the ammo and remkitting up than you will swapping out the ammo for a cheaper value item.

thanks for the video. I also have been doing some solo runs, mainly on zero dam. I do it mainly to make money. I take a very cheap loadout around 60K and just avoid PvP. If you take it slow you usually can hear what is going on and where players are so you can avoid them. Just today I made 1.2Mil with a 75K loadout in 3 raids in easy zero dam and on the 4th game I died. The good thing is poeple that kill you, actually lose money for killing you, Because of all the ammo they wasted for such a cheap loadout.

The initial scan from the bow needs to go. I'd be happy if they got rid of the first scan and made the 2nd one just slightly faster as a way to make up for it. Getting pinged and highlighted twice is awful.

I have been bringing high end ammo and low end for the bots. My issue is the Ttk is so quick that I just burn through my high end ammo from not being able to tell bot from player sometimes.

what i do when running purple/gold ammo is to keep my gun full, leave a stack in my rig enough for 1 reload with the rest in my safe box. drop 1 ai, pick up their weapon and maybe enough spare for half a reload. use their gun for ai, use yours for pvp. even half a blue stack ammo can be around 20k, i just bring either all gold/purple ammo, or all blue ammo, it's a hassle to switch ammo just to drop an ai and re-reload for pvp. if anything, a spare primary acts as backup when you're dry in pvp as well

If you crouch walk and/or crouch slow walk can other players hear you? When I crouch slow walk I can hear my steps loudly but I swear other people have snuck up on me without a single step and idk how they did it?

There is normal crouch walking, Then an extra slow one that is much more quiet when you press caps lock (its the slow movement key) while you still make noise if someone isn't really paying attention or is running and moving the sound they make will muffle the slow crouch walk.. also hackclaw innately has a more quiet walk

Sure, here's a couple. I have just been using the basic one, it literally just has the extended mag and a suppressor on it. Then if I have a spare sight in my stash I throw that on too. I liked keeping it cheap as possible to mitigate risk. Then a stack of purple rounds and a mag of blue, with some kept in my safebox. Yep it can be problem. This was a gear ticket set so it was just what it came with. They aren't normally something I use very often (it was also turned off unless I was in ADS)

Delta force has a problem. Easy mode needs to be capped at blue gear and ammo or lower only. Way to many people running gold gear and ammo on easy mode. How is that new player friendly. Bad system. Fix it, and I will be back

I played 4 games straight with randoms and lost every one. I've now completed 6 solo extraction with only one loss since!

@@MortemArcānilol your kidding right? Running solo vs squad is hard mode. I do naked knife runs on easy and can squad wipe on a rare occasion. The biggest thing is mobility. You can’t catch me if I don’t want you to. For me Vyron is the best operator because you can jump out of windows and boost over walls. It forces the teams chasing you to try and keep up plus the 3 seconds of acceleration is nice. I’m at 39 hrs played plat1, operations lvl 49 and I’ve got a friend who’s 60, pinnacle and 86 hrs played…

That can be good when you are fighting people with better gear. With the fast TTK in mind, walls and strategy just becomes the highlight in the game. I think this is good because it offers a new game mechanic.

@noname-codm4590 it feels new and different I agree but investing money by buying purple or gold gear doesn't help that much if blue ammo is gonna penetrate it easily and I repeat its not battle royal thats not how extraction shooter works
