Came across this video on Reddit as I was looking for attacks after the root rider nerf. I’m currently a TH15 and have been struggling against max TH16’s since the nerf. I tried this strategy out and it worked wonders for me. Today I got 290 trophies in legends league using this attack. You’ve gained a subscriber and I’ll defo be keeping an eye out for new videos. Can I just add, I’ve been looking all over KZbin and Reddit for attacks and none of them have worked for me until I came across this. Gave me a reason to max out my healer puppets too 😅.

I feel like the lightning spells seldom get any value on these attacks. They are only effective if a sweeper and a spell tower align properly and if not, they just go to waste. I have trouble setting up and planning this attack in only 30 seconds. Would love a follow up video.

Also I feel like placing the king right with the dragons that the king gets no value because the dragons destroy everything before he can. He ends up just looping around the outside of the base and getting trash buildings

It is also good for (1) when you misfire the arrow, (2) resetting single target towers, and (3) blasting skeletons.

Which is also why he usually survives the whole attack, avoids pulling ice golem ccs, and usually finishes off defenses in the core with his spiky ball and never-ending hit points. I do have a follow-up video coming.

I’m near maxed th15 & haven’t picked up RR or overgrowth spell yet. Been using sarch hydra for last 5 months. Currently using gw with fireball for the funnel and sarch for the th & other value. Been 3 starring maxed th16’s with it easily. It’s a powerful army.

Great video. Unfortunatelly I haven't leveled the giant arrow and vampstache. Whats the minimum level to use them?

I would say 15 is fine for the vampstache, but I would want 18 on the arrow, so it can take a spell tower with 2 lightning. One of my clanmates has started using this with a level 12 arrow, and he just knows he cannot get a spell tower.

I can’t afford to get the giant arrow and spiky ball .. it’s difficult to get orbs as it is. I’m happy with vampstach & Glove, frozen arrow & invisible vial.

I don't think lightning is a must, just getting the sweepers is more than enough 😅

In legend league, the possibility of a misfire with the arrow is enough of a reason to bring the pair, being able to also get a spell tower for 2 lightning is a good deal. In war, I sometimes skip the zaps, depending on the layout.

Using yeti in cc is much better than loons

Yetis will frequently trigger cc troops, and early walk away from the bomb. The dragon rider frequently gets away and joins the rest of the army.

Awesome video but does it work without spiky ball?

It does, but not as well from my testing. The ability to get inside the compartments is hard to offset, but the king can also power through the walls with a gauntlet/vial set. I used to use vampstache/barb puppet.
