try Papal Guard, regenerates 4 NRG per turn with flagellant and has additional dmg res. with penance stacks, so you can use Hoplite Attack and Defensive Stance each turn once you enter the loop. KA Guard has Soul Mate though, which is probably the strongest defense buff in the game for the group in other circumstances

I only use aura stacking and at least two units with auto heal when attacked and it solves everything. There is also a dot team which you only rely on healing and the dots do the rest. There are tons of ways to complete this. Nice try! to think you don't have the two I mentioned. kudos!

You must not know how this boss works. 2/4 turns he deals massive single target physical damage to the unit farthest away. And if you pushed early like this guy, Maitha couldn't tank it This is why people have been using the KA Tank & Papal Guard. Because they unlock their biggest defensive tools earlier than SSRs which make them perform better at this point for pure tanking
