Finally someone who's not ashamed of trying a suppressor on a LMG. I also found it really useful. The gun's recoil is not that bad. And you're the slowest class in the game, so when you start unloading your 100 rounds mag you'll light up like a christmass tree. You're just asking to get focused at that point. But with suppresor/flash hider you can mow down entire groups of people before they even realize what hit them. It's great.

I just got the short suppressor today for this beast, its honestly hilarious how many bullets you can dump at an enemy position while they panic trying to find out where and how.

Oh yeah having the 100 round mags and a silencer is just absolutely amazing feels so nice to mag dump and have the enemy have no idea where you are, just wait till you get the long suppressor

There's definitely gonna be more LMGs, but the devs have said that shotguns are not going to happen as it's basically impossible to balance them well

There was a "confirmed", or at least planned, weapon guns list and the weapons I remember include the PKM, M60, and MG3 (MG3KWS specifically, it's a lighter version I believe). M60 has already has it's silhouette shown off so that gun is basically confirmed as well as planned for release not too far from now. PKM and MG3 are still not shown but were on the planned list so we can expect them possibly. Both are very popular LMGs so it's easy to believe they'd be included in this game.

Have you tried the flash hider? I think it gives the m249 a much more desirable recoil pattern. I use it on any gun with higher horizontal recoil than vertical.

@@NovaGamingX4 Keep doing what you are doing is the only suggestion I have for you. The video forms are great, editing is great as well as the audio. I think the only thing you could do is maybe do some gameplay videos. You seem to play the games you play pretty well and I think it could be pretty interesting to watch, kind of like Jackfrags and such.

I guess I've always wanted to do gameplay videos but I've struggled to figure out how to make them interesting, for example I've uploaded montages in the past but they always have extremely low viewership numbers, maybe I"ll go take a look at jackfrags channel and see what he does and try to replicate it!

Loved the video since it helps new players get a grip on what to aim for in customization, specifically the small community of Support Players. The set-up your provided is something I never thought of, but it seems amazing for new players. The suppressor makes remaining hidden easy and eliminates an LMG's worst nightmare: being loud and bright and easy to kill. I have around 60 hours on the M249, so I'd like to provide my set-up to people who hunger for more. This game has pretty simple customization, so feel free to look through the attachments and find a good balance for you. === *Long Range, Recoil Reduction Set-up* Sight - *SLIP* Top Sight - *C RED DOT TOP* Barrel - *SON-6 762* Underbarrel - *BCM GUN FIGHTER* Side Rail - *GREEN LASER* _This set-up aims for more consistent ranged performance with overall lower recoil, better accuracy, and better velocity. Although your damage seems lower, you will still kill in 4 shots and 3 headshots to a good range, so it's not really a downside at all, don't worry about it._ _Gunfighter beats the horizontal recoil to death (which is the most important recoil to lower as it causes the most instability), so I use that. It also slightly improves reload time; I don't know why though. Better to have it than not I suppose._ _I like the SLIP as it's a good middle ground between something like and ACOG or Red Dot. ACOG zooms a lot, while Red Dot provides little zoom, so SLIP is my choice. Feel free to choose your own sight._ === Hope this is helpful for anyone. Wish you all the best on the battlefield!

Ngl it absolutely slaps when it's in my hands. Great at mid range engagements. Hits hard but the recoil kicks like a broncho for far targets. At least for the base version without mods.

@@NovaGamingX4 I've unlocked it now, Thought it would be good because the Flir in Tarkov is op and I loved using it, but it's alright for longer ranges as you can spot faster but you cannot see through smoke with it, which is a bit disappointing. The M249 beams tho and around 75-100m one of the best weapons in the game because of that

Todays how the game works its better to have control and draw speed. People just flank and run shoot with smgs. They need to either nerf recoil on smgs or dmg.

@@NovaGamingX4 look up m240 it’s what we use today it’s also knows as m240b it would be sick they have it in battlefield. The m249 is good to bring around and do run and gun then the 240 you’d set up with bipods and just lay absolute hate

really needs the right attachments to become really good; long/heavy barrel pushes it over the threshold and makes it only 3 body shots with a high 775 firerate, with drum it has 60 bullets (giving you A LOT of kills per mag) but together the recoil becomes quite hefty also really good with quick mag
