Best season ever. No gem leveling for normal folks like me. Of course high end players will still have to level gems to get level 150 augments at some point but I usually lost interest after a few weeks into a season and had like level 110 or 120 max augments. Now having full 125 augments after a few days feels nice.

Leveling gems is the worst thing if you use them tonesrly you waste multiple hours per gem. Now i dont care and use them if i can. Sure it takes a whole to get 150 up but now i can farm then evenly

Yeah back when I was playing non-season, I never dared go all the way to T16, even with full gear. Now with soul shards, T16 feels like hard mode lolz

Another great place to use a regular gem in the helmet along with broken crown is whimsydale, literally hundreds of extra gems there.

Yup about 600 with a 4 ppl group. Of course, you'll have to wear the broken crown yourself with a reg gem. But who cares. Plenty of DPs without a shard in the helm for a t16

People are also using the method of level 31 WD, Crusader, DH or Monk to farm Non Ancient Puzzle rings from Kadala. It has only 3 possible Legendary rings on that pool.

Unfortunately, you can't reroll those lvl 31 ring into an ancient version to get the ancient vault

Sorry I'm confused. So to sum it up...I just farm Zolton Kulle between countdown of the Neph Rift closing to pick up the Dregs of Lies and Salvage it for a Flawless Royal Gem or 3 Imperial gems? 1. How do I make sure it is a Dex gem? (since Im running Monk). 2. Where does the Broken Crown on my follower come into play? Sorry new to Diablo 3. I am not familiar with strategies.

1. You don't, it will be random color and random quality. You can always migrate gems to the color you want with the recipe cube and the material from Squirt in Act 2. It's actually better to get the lower quality one since you need 9 to be able to use the recipe. 2. Use the broken crown on your follower and equip the gem you want in your own head. Emerald in your case.

@@DennisDehouwer I'd suggest you use whatever gem works best with your build and then convert when you have enough. To save on the squirts recipes, you can use them on maxed out gems.

I've been doing this along with running vaults in groups, for vaults I just load my vault build with crown cubed and wearing a gem in helm, for solo I just keep a copy of my set helmet in inv and follower always has broken crown. This way I can just swap helms when I want to do bosses or T16 rifts

I would normally quit once I get to the grindy part but with these extra options it feels worth it to keep playing.

I feel like lacking gems won't be the biggest problem for me this season. Hellforge embers - that's the problem. I literally got more primals than those things so far. Same goes to Ramaladni's btw. Am I doing something wrong or does random just hate me?

There is no way in the world you got more primal than ember. The droprate for primals is 20 times lower. At 90 grifts you get at worst 1 every 10 to 15 grift so one every 20 to 30 min but most of the time you get multiple per rift.

Same for me. My swk set has one ancient item and my inna has zero. I think we have to upgrade rare weapons/rings/amulets, but i will follow his guide. It says, you start to upgrade items when you really wanna start to push. Until then, just speed runs and hope for ancients.

I have had really good luck with ancients, just not for my class. I did luck out with an ancient Belt of trove and Messescmhidts cleaver

Can you get flawless from salvage still? I have salvaged probably over 100 gems at this point and have yet to see one. They dropped quite a bit on PTR. I ended up just using about 50 keys worth of shards on kadala level 31 alt for puzzle rings that gave me 9 of each royal flawless. Then I just converted them to whatever I wanted. The 50 keys worth of gambling gave me around 57 total royal gems after I was said and done (broken crown + 36 from converting)

I only bother to do Kuhle if he is a bounty quest. That way you are guaranteed a chest, which will have a few extra gems. This works for any of the other bosses that are easy to access. Skeliton King, Butcher, Mahgda, Izual, Belial are all fairly quick trips.....

On console, salvaging the soul shards appears to only give Imperial gems or Marquise. It gives you 3 of the same gem. I have salvaged 30× soul shards, all Imperial at best. Edit: finally saw a flawless royal after salvaging 50 dregs of lies. Got a single flawless royal ruby. Not worth the time to do?

so the sword "sever" is what is in question. hAs the insanely high damage that comes after killing an enemy which is slain body parts rest in pieces ever have any actual usefulness? I pair it with anguish shard ability that the final blow causes enemies within range to also take the DMG but it totally negates the pieces DMG that I see when not having the shard equipped .. my question is does sever do anything other then visually? and another question please if u could help bro is what would the best final blow DMG wise be ? from maybe 18% Necro skill?

yes Sever had been abused by several builds/metas in the past and finally changed to be barely useful anymore but it still has a small hidden damage effect (it kills enemies if you hit them for more than half of their remaining HP, so it provides a DPS bonus between 0 and up to 100%) - it doesn't interact with Anguish in any way though

Years ago I had my own boss bounty farming route that I took to get more regular gems. It was the best method because I only ran bosses that I could easily find where I had to do no back tracking at all to find them. I would check the bounty for acts 1-4. I will explain later why I left act 5 out of the checking. Below is the list of bosses. Act 1. Skeleton King Act 2. All except Vidian. Act 3. Azmodan Act 4. Rakanoth All of the bosses above are on static pathways that involve no backtracking whatsoever. That is why I don't bother any of the other bosses when farming bosses during bounties. So this means I need to go back to the shadows of bounty boss farming. Also the difficulty setting doesn't mean anything either. I have checked it multiple times and you get about the same amount of gems within the same amount of time for augs.

I think it's rng. I got mine from t16 and grift 75 and higher. My progress was something like speed grift 78, 86, 94, 99 and I got like 7 gifts.

850 parsgon is maybe 10h playtime 15 if you are slow so 4 seems okay compared to the droprate. Speed farm 90 grifts. 2 min = 9 items.

quick question! I am trying to get my innas set and I am extremly unlucky so far! I got every other set over 6 piece but innas still only 2. Is there a set piece that I can roll the best with kadala? e.g. innas has a belt so is rolling belt the best strategy because no other set has it?

As far as I know pants are the best ones to roll. Belt is one of the worst as there are so many belts on the loot table. From experience though I've found just doing GR's is the best way to get a piece of gear and then reroll the set item in the cube to one of the pieces you need for that set.

Sorry to interupt. I asked about Essence and follower under last video. U told tgat it works only for stacks and cdr. And doesnt work for 50% dmg. So if i want dmg- i must roll poison on my bow But why? Can u explain, plz? When we go 4 ppl- ZDH gives us 50%dmg. And we(monks) doesnt have poison. Why can i do ut with my follower? She gives me stacks. Why cant she buff my dmg? Again so sry for interupting. But i really want to understand the mechanics in depth. And noone can answer. Everybody says- ask Wudi. So i am doing (-:

Because its simply dont work on the follower. You need the poison in the bow to trigger the effect. Its simple. You follower is not a player thats why and it would be to strong

Gems are no issue, since Broken Crown effect emanates to me. I ended up with 12k marquis diamonds last season and countless others. I also always try to perfect gold % bonus on currently played build. Not many hours since I got married, however almost 300 B gold made a reasonable salary.
