I had just made one of these using an instant potato box when i saw your video! I used the extra side of the box, across from the spine, and cut it off and glued to make the spine sturdier. Love all your tutorials!

Hi Amber, These are so fun and easy to make. Upon watching your first video, I made one that size. Then, your second video with the smaller size inspired me to use 8 x 8 paper. I LOVE the smaller size even more. I used elastic for all four I'm making. When I finally pull myself away from making these journals, I will make a video of all of them with a link to both your's and Sarah's video's. I've made several of your projects, this is the most fun of all. Pretty soon my paper stash will be gone... well not totally, but these will make a good dent in using it up. Thanks, Tricia

If you add glue stick to the double sided tape it gives you a little wiggle room to adhere your papers together, a little tip I have picked up and it has saved me multiple times.

So beautiful, my sweet Amber! Love the Papers!and love how you used a Cereal Box! And you gave me another idea! I like my notebook holders to have “wrap around” style closures to keep them more protected, and the way you cut the box before you cut the excess you weren’t using will make a perfect cheap around closure. I have to remember it to make it! Love that you are so creative and talented! I hope you and your loved ones are staying healthy, safe and doing well! Big hug and love 🤗💝

Girl I love it ! I also have a passport, pencil, pen etc.. habit! Don't feel bad😉You could also not cut off the other flap at the top and bottom. Glue them closed after cutting the box in half. Then you would have two smaller ones.

My kind of journal (florals)... I had this paper pad, but I just killed it by making large coin envelopes (using the full 12x12 sheets).. I make them while watching tv.. the paper is a nice light weight, so I’m able to include several with my letters to pen pals... I bought the paper pad for 75% off..$3.75 at one of hobby lobby’s big paper studio sales...
